Finally, my first build is completed. (almost to be more precise, i need one more 1TB disk, a decent keyboard, mouse and even more important, decent sound monitors)

I work with video and sound in several ways and my old computer started to get old, so... I used to work with a imac 27" from mid 2010, after some research i decided to go full Pc (and AMD). The software i use is almost everything compatible with windows, except Logic, but i'm ready to move on to another daw.

I am also an active gamer, another reason for the change.

im building a 1700x with a 1080ti and a phanteks tempered glass. i thought the noctua will look ugly but you have a clean look congrats.

@ alpha aio coolers unless top of the line are noisy perform worse and tend to leak and have performance issues , (actually only a handful in the range of 160+ euros are worth getting)

tbh unless you look at serious overclocking theres no reason to even get an aio cooler and risk leaking( and have the trouble of replacement in a couple of years anyway because they usually wont last longer - the pump usually fails)

On top of that standard aio from companies are using bad quality fans even the top ones you pay lots of money to get.

Only aio's worth are custom loops. On a flip side even with the best custom loop , high overclock kills ur cpu in the short run , and you loose the warranty as well.

eh too bad cant find h7 lumi in my country or somewhere near europe that dont charge extra 50 euros shipping , shame is a good looking cooler .

Cant tell about noctua they are un appealing to me , i might go with cryorig r1 ultimate or dark rock pro 3

Yes, visually I also dont like noctua, but I was trying to build something that gave me some guarantees ... that's why I opted for the dh15

Love the clean build, what a monster! Any thoughts on the case? What is it like having a 960 boot drive?

Does the side cover fit with that Noctua cooler in place?

sorry for the late reply, but yeah, it fits perfectly.

Why not the AIO Arctic Liquid Freezer 120? It's actually cheaper then the Noctua.

hey! after some research i concluded that the Noctua DH15 was the best offer in noise/performance relation (in that price range), thats why i opted for the Noctua

Whatever floats your boat.
