Description

This is my very first build ever. I went a little too crazy on it but it's because I believe if you going to do something you better do it right. Well some of you might think the psu is over kill but I actually intend to have crossfire getting a second r9 hopefully soon. The installation of the radiator was a pain in a push/pull config but after 30 minutes of cursing and sweating, it got in place and I'm satisfied. I left the 2 fan that came with the aio liquid cooler on top you can see the beauty of the thermaltake's riing fans. I wished these fans were pwm but thanks to the motherboard I still have control over them although the led shuts off at I believe 20% fan power :( I wished corasair would have added a psu cover like the nxt cases, but that's something I'll be making myself I'll upload new pics once it's implemented. The reason is because the cables are just there.... With this huge screen you would think they would have had better planning. No CD reader I feel that is not necessary in this particular build. Either way let me know how I can improve this. I have many ideas and not enough money wished I have sleeved cables but that's a near future plan along the second you. Thanks!

Black and gold looks awesome! :D

I have roughly the same specked build and am wanting to crossfire r9 390's aswell (just don't have the cash, so il stick with my single r9 390)

Really like the looks of this build, good job man you have my +1 for sure.

What sort of games are you playing and what screen setup are you going to run/running?

It does! I feel that the fans is what takes it to the next level. I too have no cash for the other r9 but I think I'm getting a part time. Right now I'm using a Samsung tv 1080p @60hrz 40inch... For now

Do you get much input lag?

When I play on my TV I notice a major difference in speed from my monitor.

Although my monitor is 144Hz and when I use my TV I use a wireless keyboard/mouse as apposed to mechanical/wired. But still.....

Pretty sure your part list shows the wrong GPU.
R9 380 maybe?!

I agree, I have the 390 and it is much longer than the card he is running.

It sure looks like an Armor 2x and there is no R9 390 with that cooling system.

You did a Twin Frozr paint job! You're my hero! I love it! Looks amazing!
Some Question tho: were you able to re-use the backplate of the 970? And why the GPU change?
I would also peel of the red fan stickers, but that's just a personal reference.

Damn...i want to do a yellow build next.

That black yellow backplate is not msi it is from v1tech it literally only for looks it sits on top of the real backplate ;)

The 390 seems to be better than the 970 it's a little "future prove" if that even exists now in days lol

I share the sentiment of doing something right the first time and you can't go wrong with Corsair. Great build.

Nice schematic. How are your temps? I thought the Thermaltake Riing fans were usually SP fans rather than AF

The God of sun from Egyptian God of sun later known as Ra-Horakhty ("Ra, who is Horus of the Two Horizons"). One because is my first build. Although I must say I remeber a Hindi movie that was really cool as well.
