Description

Small Micro ATX cube case for compact gaming, programming and editing. Playing mainly FPS genre games and can not stand low fps.

System is super quiet under load, really loving the 2 sides of the case and the option to seperate heat (CPU heat on one side and GPU on the other). At max the GPU is only getting the fan up to ~42% / ~65C (it is super quiet) and the highest I have seen the CPU was one time at ~55C.

Installation was tight but worked out very well, only hassle was fitting all the case fans without a dedicated fan-controller and therefore solely relying on the motherboards fan outlets and splitters. Also the H100i v2 is making a subtle rattling noise (properly bubbles), but nothing I am worried about since CPU temp is low.

Had an issue with the motherboard and the CPU cooler, where ram slot A1/A2 was undetected at first, after reading a lot of comments about loosening the screws a bit, they started functioning again (apparently I tightened them too much).

Thinking about painting the white PCI case brackets red, but not sure about that. A second 512 GB SSD is on the drawing board for a RAID 0 setup (the SSD is tucked away in the hidden front case SSD mount and cables for it is already in place).

All in all, I am extremely happy with the build and I hope you will like it as well.

This looks much like what I am planning to build, nice to know it works well. That's a lot of case fans, much more than I had included in my plan, but I guess if there is room why not! Thanks.

Edit: Are the Noctua fans much better that the ones included with the cooler?

Yeah, pretty overkill with the fans, but why not.. The Noctua fans are according to the critics performing better and I had them in my old build with good result, thats why i went for them

Hi there, I'm actually in the process of planning parts for my very first build, and I wanted to check out completed builds using the Node 804 case. I like your red theme, looks awesome.

Do you think you'll have any issues doing SLI in the future, do you have enough clearance for another GPU? I'm considering doing a similar setup while having SLI open as option in the future.

Here's my draft: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Sages/saved/D46v6h

I would have to upgrade the PSU to a 750W. Regarding clearance it should not be an issue with an extra Gaming X card. Thought of buying the Strix version of the 1070, but the card was too long to have both card and case-fan installed, that's why i went with the MS,I because it is taller (no problem for this case) and not that long compared to other cards.

Would a 1060 asus strix fit in this case (pls answer)?

It will fit, BUT you will not be able to put most fans in there to cool the card, because of the length of the card. Thats why i went for the MSI because.

Hi,

Are the fans on the top of motherboard exhaust or intake ?

Hi, would it be possible for you to share how much you spent on your ram? I'm looking at prices right now and it's all over the place. Thank you!
