Description

So this is my very first time building a PC as almost everyone else on here. One thing I have to say is the CPU cooler was the scariest part to do cause it had a slight bend in one of the legs.

The build took me roughly 6 hours to do about 1 or 2 of that is getting the wiring how I wanted. I know the cables are not perfect but for now it works just fine.

Pictures: Sorry they look like crap I used a galaxy S5 to take the pictures.

So on to what I think about every part.

CPU: This thing is so damn fast compared to my old PC's CPU (AMD Sempron 140). Able to run 2 game servers and still play other games while they are running.

CPU cooler: Once again this thing scared me to install cause of the bent leg. but other than that this thing is amazing.

MOBO: I chose this motherboard mostly on the ratings and what people had to say about it and so far it is doing what I want it to do.

RAM: Looks awesome and has decent speeds.

HDD: Seagate drives are so annoying but so cheap. Had to send back at least 6 drives do to them being DOA.

SSD: EXTREMELY fast

Graphics card: This thing is amazing I can do just about anything with no issue at all. I watched maybe 50+ videos on all kinds of graphics cards and this was my final choice.

Case: Absolutely amazing and it is freaking huge cable management is amazing aswell

Power supply: 750W should allow me to overclock pretty nicely and its very reliable.

OS: Besides Windows 10 making me reset my whole PC 2 times and do a system restore do to some weird error that I cannot find anywhere on the internet since it's release it's alright.

Monitor: This thing is HUGE on my desk. And the colors are great. I had one of those giant bulky dinosaur monitors previously so this is a enormous improvement from that.

Sorry about the dust I clean this PC constantly every week. I would be spending hours to try to get every little spec out.

Edit: Got a second HDD (2tb).

Edit 2: Changed some text. Replaced the power supply with a 750 watt version. Installed windows 10. Updated the part list.

Edit 3: added some pictures of the 2 monitors changed the part list for my new HDD (for movies) and SSD with the new graphics card and more RAM and also a 2nd monitor.

Edit 4: Added some lighting. I think this MAY be the final edit for the build I have thought about just making it a new build on here with all the changes I had done but I decided not to.

Edit 5: Forgot to mention I did a case swap from the Cooler Master HAF 912 to the Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5. Best case IMO.

How are the temps of the CPU with the Hyper 212 EVO?? People are telling me that I need a liquid cooler for my FX-8320....

you really don't need a liquid cooler for it cause my cpu runs just fine. I average about 30c on idle and 40-50c (depending on what application im running at the time) while under load. but everyone has there temps they like to stay at so its up to you.

+1! Really nice build man. I have sort of a similar one myself. How's that 390 treating you? I plan to upgrade to one soon.

Really good. I have since upgraded the case to the cooler master mastercase pro 5. I might set up a separate build on here later with all the changes I have made (changed the build on here a million times now lol)

With this case my back fan got in the way a little bit so when I close it I have to make sure it does not pop off since I only use the magnet portion of it and not the tape part.
