Description

I have bought most of the parts from Microcenter during blackfriday sale event, while some parts got a really good deal off ebay. There is no GPU, Cooler, and LED fans/LED's yet, planning to buy that pretty soon maybe in a couple of months. The cable management is somewhat decent due to the fact that i was rushing to get this rig done because it was gona be my brothers bday and i wanted it to be done when he wakes up in the morning and be able to game on it asap hahaha. I'm still going to rewire some of the cables specially when i buy the parts that i wanted to add as mentioned above. He loves gaming on it and he is using our 60inch HDTV in the living for the meantime while he saves up money to buy him a monitor lol! Ill take more pictures once i put on the addons i need for his rig. Yeah my lil bro's Commander is on active duty wrecking moderate games like LOL and BF3 on low-med settings on 1080p.

Update: Addedd picture taken from my iphone, sorry for the angle hahaha. As you guys can a see an i5 3570k hd4000 can give u above 60+ fps ultra settings on games like league of legends which is not too taxing. Im going to post more pictures when i get the GPU Cooler and revamped cable management with LED lights/fans.

how are you getting playable framerates. I get 20 fps on low at 720p with my intel hd 4600

i doubt you're getting that, on a laptop with hd3000m I was getting playable framerates on most games at 1366x768 on low-med

I agree on the GPU part that i do need it, but for now since my lil bro is just playing mostly League of Legends - At max settings "shadow off" he gets around 90-120 fps and dips down occasionally down to 60+ to 75+ fps. i5 3570k running on stock with hd4000 is pretty amazing when it comes to non demanding titles. I got the ram for $50 at microcenter during black friday sale even where you buy a mobo/cpu combo you get additional $10 off Ram and the memory was already on sale. So just watch out for some killer deals. We are planning to wait out on nvidia 800's to come out, or get a 780 ti or lastly in our minds was to get a r9. Ofcourse im still gona a liquid cooler so i can OC his rig. But if im on a budget with the cooler - A hyperEVO should do the job for mild OC.

You should really consider adding a discrete GPU solution to this build; HD 4000 won't cut it when it comes to newer games.

Oh I read it but still you are saying youre playing bf3 right now. So yes you're gaming with hd 4000. What do you plan to get for a gpu?
