Description

This is my first PC build. I decided to take the leap from console gaming to PC Gaming and so far it has been worth it.

At the moment it has a GTX 970 but I am looking to upgrade to either GTX 980 SLI or GTX 980ti SLI for complete overkill purposes!

I enjoyed the build process and this case made it soooo easy.

Also that cooler, how do you like it? Also any issues with the mobo?

The cooler is brilliant. My cpu runs at an average of 26 degrees C at idle and max temps are around 58-62 degrees C under full load using OCCT after about 6 hours and that's with a 4.6 GHz overclock @ 1.260 v

The Motherboard is great. the bios is so easy and clear to use even for a first time builder. the overclocking section of the bios has so much info and voltages that can be changed. but for me just changing the multiplier and the voltage is fine.

Also the fan control is fantastic I have manged to get the fans to such a low rpm that I can barely hear them but still fast enough to keep a good airflow!

Hey amazing build. I'm planning building exactly this but with a R9 390 instead. Where did you get those cables? And how were you able to have a coloured cable for the 24 Pin connector? Isn't your PSU SEMI-modular?

Hi.

The cables are 30cm extensions they plug into the existing connectors. I got them from shakmods but you can find them by typing in sleeved extensions. If you want to add cablecombs (the black things on the cables) you have to remove the wires from the connectors. Sorry for the delay in responding been a very busy time in the RAF

Thanks for the great comments mate! It means alot.

Thats a great Idea about the LEDs. I will definitely look it to that. Would suggest mounting them at the top, bottom or side of the case?
