Description

For excellent 1080p gaming. Maxes out all games' graphics and stays over 60 FPS. The build was quite simple. I got a clock on my cpu @ 4.7Ghz. So far there are no problems with the system. I was worried the 212 EVO wouldn't fit in the 450D, but there is plenty of room left.

I picked this name for the build, because every part of the build comes together to form one beast gaming rig.

Part Reviews

CPU

This is an excellent CPU for the price. Was able to get mine to a stable 4.7 Ghz and only 80 degree (C) temps :D

CPU Cooler

Very good cooler! Keeps my i5-6600K @ 4.7 Ghz nice and cool at idle (25 degrees) and at load in Prime95 (80 degrees)

Motherboard

Auto overclocker works great! It got my CPU over 4.7 Ghz but I decided to keep it at 4.7 instead of 4.8

Memory

Just what you would expect from RAM

Storage

VERY fast! it boots up my windows in 2 seconds

Storage

Good drive overall. It is what you would expect from a HDD

Video Card

AMAZING card for the price. With some benchmarks, it showed this card just below a gtx 980. not far away at all

Case

wonderful looking case! good cable management and a nice window to complement it. very good airflow as Corsair had advertised

Power Supply

Very good and efficient psu. I recommend

Optical Drive

Good read speeds; downloaded Win10 in 5 mins

Operating System

Very good OS! i love it over Win7

Wireless Network Adapter

Just a wifi card... no more no less. it works

what is the voltage for your ram and cpu? Also, how much did you pay for your 970?

Sorry for just answering now, but my memory is running at stock voltages, and my cpu is running at 1.35 volts under load. I paid about $350 for my 970 and it was totally worth it.

Thanks. Our builds are almost identical. I am going to put mine together on the 18th.
