EVGA GTX1080 FTW appears to throttle so close to PSU shroud.
A friend of mine runs an Evolv ITX case with the exact same card and has no thermal throttling problems, which is making me wonder why you are experiencing this issue. Do you have any idea why this is happening?
It appears that the Evolv ITX case may have a LITTLE better airflow under the GFX card, but I can't say for sure. After just a few minutes of gaming my card goes into the 80s and the fans sound like a jet engine. Maybe a reapplication of thermal paste would help, but I think the hot air just has no where to go in the NZXT Manta... I limit my frames in games now to keep things cooler and more quiet.
