Description

I've been saving up for this build since the end of last summer as I don't have a job and I relied on allowance from chores and holidays. I just turned 15 on March 9th and I'm going to start looking for a summer job so I can upgrade the cpu and play more demanding games at higher fps. The only games I really play are CS:GO, Drift Streets Japan, and A.R.K. Survival Evolved and I'm downloading GTA 5 as I type this. I'm also going to upgrade my hdd to a wd black 2 tb for when I start making Youtube videos and live streaming.
I finished this build on the 13th of March but stupidly didn't realize my motherboard didn't have onboard wi-fi, so I had to wait a week for the free router from xfinity's service upgrade to get here. I've had the pc for almost 4 days now and all of the parts are really fast and quiet, the loudest part is probably the hdd but I can't hear it with my headphones on.
My setup isn't the best right now because I wanted to finish the pc as soon as I could (which explains the pentium processor). While I'm saving up for a 4690k I'm going to be buying a tv stand desk and signum from Ikea. I'm also gonna buy two or three new monitors because I have a trashy old VGA LED monitor from AOC that my brother gave me for free that I just use to keep Skype and background programs on and I use my 32" 1080i tv from Insignia to game on.

Nice build and set up. Nice to see people make there first build for around the $500 - $750 range rather than a $1500+ for their first build. +1

Isn't it super uncomfortable to play on the TV standing on your left? I'm confused..why not put it in front of you?

Like the GTA V map poster! And good luck for your plans!

Good part list choice, although I probably wouldn't have gone for the V300. Still a solid part choice, why the red RAM when you could have color matched a bit with your build? +1

I was originally gonna go with mostly white and red, and I'm probably gonna get a red z97

Cool starter build! When you upgrade your CPU though save a little and get a non K CPU since you got the H97 board. An I5-4460 is a very good budget quad core, or you could get the 4690 Non K as well

I'm probably going to upgrade to a z97 and put the h97 in my dads pc that I'm going to build

How does ark run on this build? I can barely r7n it on my lenovo y40-80, I bought it before this website so it sucks but still.

I get 60 fps on normal settings 1080p so it runs pretty well

Oh and great job, don't see many builds that are not 1600+ first time anymore

Love the build! Solid budget stuff is always more satisfying than over the top 2 grand builds. How does csgo do on that tv? Is the response time fast enough?

I've never really played csgo on a fast monitor so I don't really notice anything bad so it's fine for me until I get new monitors

Nice job man. I'm around your age and I'm aiming for my first gaming PC at around this budget. It's nice to see others that are like me that have been successful.
