Description

This website is amazing, it made it sooo easy to chose my parts and its just overall super helpful. So this is my first build and I tried to go for somewhat of a clean look. My budget was about $1000 but I also bought a 29' LG ultrawide screen which btw is amazing, I love it! but thats just my opinion. I got on sale at best buy for $270. The money was there so wth. The CPU was easy. I couldn't afford an i7 so I got this. The CPU cooler I got for $90 so it was a pretty good deal. the white stock LED matches my build so I didn't have to mess with it and it is a 240mm cooler.. The RAM is just sexy! it does its job and kingston is a great company from what I've read. SSD why 120gb? I love how fast this thing boots up. I have a 2tb external drive but I will be getting a bigger SSD and hardrive for mass storage in the near future. GPU: I haven't been able to test this bad boy yet but I cant wait. I got the SSC model on sale for $330 + free backplate + witcher 3 & a $15 mail-in rebate. The sale came on just in time before I bought the FTW+ which came with a backplate pre-installed for $390! it really was a no brainer for me since i was only getting FTW+ for the backplate. S340, I fell in love with you since the first time I saw you! this case made it a breeze to put my first build together and that I thank you NZXT. PSU was like $35 so i went for it. Nest PSU will definitely be fully modular. Extra fans because they just look nice.

My other set of RAM sticks got here todayy they're infront of me but I'll upload better pictures when I get my hands on my dads camera.

*Update- I put in my two new RAM sticks and now it finally looks complete. I KNOW MY DESK IS TINY. I will be getting a new one later on. for now, I'm just happy i have a desk.

Hoping to fix those cables on my GPU, they look terrible but I can't see them in my desk atm.

Absolutely beautiful! Those black and white colors!! Great parts and that's good to know you intend to upgrade the PSU to a full mod.

What's the purpose for your build if don't mind me asking? You mention about an i7 but had to go for an i5 and I'm certain other parts were too but what you have for now, it's all good. You have my plus one!

YES the cable management in the back is horrible lol but it'll have to do for now. I will mainly game and I am aware a 4690k is more than enough but who doesn't like to go overboard sometimes. ;)

Oh my, don't worry! Your build is so lovely but I do know on how you feel about cable management on the back. I think you did great job with a non-modular! I know those are difficult to handle. And thank you for your response, makes sense. You will have an amazing gaming rig for quite some time. The joys having your own customized computer is the capabilities to changing or adding parts when one can. Enjoy your computer, you did an amazing build! :)

Nice build :). I pressume that the 1333 and 1866 RAM sticks is a typo? Having them both with the same speeds seems more logical to me.

Holy crap BATMAN !!!! I'm doing the same build only because i found the same case for 50 dlls on eBay minus a 43 dlls discount lol ...but im going for the 960 card then changing the card on November for the Star Wars Game coming out. White and blank inside and going to ask a friend that does wrappings to do me a storm trooper wrapping for my case. Debating on doing some led lights either blaster red or just white lol ....im glad someone did what i have in mid for my battle front custom pc lol. I also wanted the i7 but doing some reading the i5 4690k will be ok for the next two gens. of chips or AMD coming out with a better solution. I'm hoping the 970's coem down in price or 960ti's come out soon lol ...

Tempted to build the same colour scheme but when i read reviews and other users about the motherboard they mentioned of parts of the mb doesnt work properly. Did you get any of them at all? Really nice board for the price But dont have the time for faulty boards. Really nice build man.

Thanks bro! I was contemplating as well cause I had read some mixed reviews but I took the chance! Um I haven't had any issues with it honestly. I haven't done any overlooking but the only thing about the board is that you really have to make sure things are plugged in. When putting the Ram sticks I thought they weren't all the way in but they were.

Hey man, awesome build. Honestly didn't expect the build to look this sexy but God does it. I would just wondering why did you pick the H100i and wire it to the front of the case (I'm assuming you changed the fan direction too) over say a smaller single 120/140mm fan that could be mounted to the top or back.

This is a pretty identical build to one i had in mind. Only difference is that i was deciding to go with a white s340 rather than a white one. Now, I have a build thats kinda simular but different Anyway, +1 amazing build
