Description

Gaming/Work/Entertainment this RIG is more than Capable of handling any thing i need it to do for me and looks super Sexy on my desk at home. "Dark Side" is not complete yet he still needs a few more parts i don't want to OC him till i have a real Cpu cooler installed, I'm looking in to the H100i and i really want a crossfire set up but that will have to wait till later "Dark Side" is a real BEAST he can run any Title on ultra high settings like a champ, hes a bit loud under load but not that bad, A few more bucks on some really good Quiet Corsair Fans should take care of that. Air flow is great and cooling is not an issue the 600T is really sweet Case.

1/25/2014 update Finally got my H100i for $79.99 and got Dark Side OC to 4.5Ghz now, i used Prime95/FurMark 3D(45 min)for Temperature Tests! new Pics will follow soon.I'm running the H100i on Quiet mode so the fan RPMs are like 1045. They are quit load on MAX but i feel there is no need to keep them that high they work Extremely well on Quiet and my temps are just fine for me.

I would have gone nvidia and got a 760 or a 770 during winter sales. Other than that it's solid. I hope you have spare HDD from previous builds though.

Thanks man ya i got some old HDD from my last build and i started working on Dark side back in June 2013 i picked up the 7870 for an insane price 180.00 bucks i thought that was a ridiculous price for that performance and jumped on it real fast lol i needed an upgrade and i couldn't wait for the holidays i love this site wish i knew about this site 8 months ago would have made my life much easier, your rig is tight to bro

You might consider putting in the actual prices you paid. People use different vendors so the prices they see aren't reflective of what you actually paid. For example, the 7870 shows up as $299, which isn't a very good deal. You paid $180? That is awesome.

Ohhh okay. Ya I was lookin at your build and was confused as to why you have a A+ AMD build and a A- card for that price (was showing 280 for me), hence why I suggested the 770. 180 for a 7870 is beast.

This site is awesome, it with reddit taught me all there is in building a PC and what to get. My original budget was $700 hoping for 600 on sale. I... I doubled that though it was over 2000 in the spring so I don't regret the purchase.

Thanks on the compliments I am in love with my PC. But with buying everything on massive sales you get the last of the lot. My PSU had the fan break on it and completely shatter. So I'm waiting on a new one. Shouldn't be too long now, it's been about 12 days with it not running. I did rewire and fixed the cable management, so much cleaner now.

Spend more on the motherboard than you spend on the cpu (and almost the GPU) -1.

That's false. You can get way better performance at gaming fro a high end CPU and a medium grade motherboard.

i think you read what he said wrong, hes saying he spent more on the motherboard then he did on the CPU and the GPU isnt much more.

Basically saying price/performance ratio is a little out of balance.

Anywho, i happen to like the build regardless +1
