Description

I have been meaning to build a gaming computer for quite a while now and here is the final result. I built this machine for some medium-end 1080p gaming (Battlefield, Minecraft, CS:GO, etc), as well as use for school and stuffs. It was a scary first build but luckily everything worked on the first boot, and no DOA parts! I have yet to overclock the cpu, mainly because I don't know how to, but when I do figure it out I'll pick up a Hyper 212 to cool things up.

Hopefully down the line I'll put some LED lighting in the case since its pretty dark in there, and eventually get a second 380 for some crossfire action.

But for now, this machine does all I need and more! (although a 980ti would be pretty nice...)

This is a nice build! Having the 212 EVO is a good aftermarket cooler for starters but it can feel a bit daunting with the first time to install it. Also finding a good guide that is specifically talking about your processor for overclocking. I'm certain it will go well once you gained enough knowledge about it. Of course, one never can go wrong on being prepared.

Enjoy your new PC! +1 :)

It's no problem! I don't think there is really a good way to know, so default with guy is fine. Sometimes I'm not sure how to approach these either without sounding like I'm offended when I'm not. Just makes me giggle a lot but sometimes I do Iet others know but not always. Comments on the internet just doesn't imply it too well, so no need to be sorry. :)

You have a really nice build, and I especially like the Toads. I would recommend the addition of an SSD to you because they are just so amazing and help speed up your computer a lot, its up to you if you want to pick it up, but if you like playing heavily modded minecraft packs, then an ssd would help with the boot times for the games, as well as make your OS much snappier if you migrated it over. It ends up becoming more work than you think, but in the end its worth it, trust me.

I would recommend the 250 GB Samsung SSD below, or one from Kingston, Intel, or a Kingston Hyper X.

Below is a tutorial on how to migrate your OS to the SSD if you choose to use one. I would personally recommend reverting your OS to factory settings to remove some of windows's temporary files, and to get a clean start on your new hard drive!

Thanks a bunch, nice profile pic btw! And on the topic of SSD's, yes I do down the line plan on getting one for a snappier user experience, but wouldn't know how to migrate things, so thanks for the links!

is the fx 6300 enoguh for the gmaes like fifa16 , itcher 3, crisi3 ?

it will certainly run it on it medium settings, but its not all about the cpu, you will need a good gpu for those games too

i am buying r9 290, is the combination worth it or the cpu will bottle neck

The FX 6300 shouldn't bottleneck the R9 290, but just in case, you should look into overclocking the cpu for more power

When I get the cooler I'll look further into it, and thanks for the insight!
