Description

My second PC build. I love the Meshify case and the tinted tempered glass. Unfortunately a little bit after I purchased this case the white meshify came out, which I think looks amazing. Maybe eventually I'll switch cases but as of now, I'm satisfied. The build was fun. I recently broke my hand so building this and trying to manage cables was very challenging to do with a cast on. Didn't run into any problems as far hardware goes but Asus Aura is garbage. It kept un-syncing my RAM even after I updated my BIOS. I got it working for now but I still don't trust it. I'm mostly going to be using this PC for gaming and some editing. I might get into streaming but I don't know if I'm that willing yet. I have to say I'm extremely happy with this build. I'm also getting a 1440p 144hz monitor within the coming weeks and I'll update the photos when I get it.

Part Reviews

CPU

Awesome CPU. Doesn't run hot and can be easily overclocked.

CPU Cooler

Very nice cooler aesthetically and functionally.

Motherboard

Nice motherboard.

Memory

awesome RAM, just very overpriced at the moment.

Video Card

Nice card. A little noisy and not RGB.

Case

Awesome case. Love how compact it is and the tinted tempered glass.

Monitor

its awesome for a 1080p 144hz monitor. Going from 60hz to 144hz was a huge difference. I don't think I could ever go back to 60hz.

Mouse

awesome mouse. Especially for playing MMO's

I like this, very nicely done. NZXT makes some pretty products, also that case is nice. So many builds to do and so little money haha.

They do make nice products. I'm getting the rgb strip kit soon to light the inside up a little more. I previously had the nzxt S340 elite (white) and it was a very nice case but I always had my eye on the meshify, so I made the switch.

I agree. I was sitting around thinking of one forever but couldn't think of anything. As soon as I think of one, I will update it.

That EVGA ACX 3.0 is among the worst 1080 on the market, so hot that EVGA replaced it with the iCX version for $ 100

I went from a Gigabyte AORUS GeForce GTX 1070Ti 8G triple fan, and one thing I have noticed with the EVGA 1080 is that its noisy. Especially under load and I agree, it does get hot. In your opinion what do you think is one of the best 1080's out there?

I was considering trading mine in and getting the asus ROG Strix 8G since it's going for $629 at my local Microcenter right now.

The ROG Strix does not enter in the Meshify if you have the front radiator. "Fractal Design Meshify C - Graphics card length limit Max 315mm with front fan mounted"

NZXT Kraken x52 thickness: 26mm fan + 30mm radiator

The maximum length of the graphics card is reduced to 284mm

You can not mount the radiator in a top position because it interferes with the Ram "Top radiator 120 / 240mm (max component height on motherboard 40mm)" G.Skill height 44mm

The solution if you want to change the GPU is to take a Gigabyte AORUS (not the Xtreme Edition, the Aorus normal 287mm version) and change the NZXT Kraken X52 with a slim AIO cooler, like: NZXT Kraken x72, EVGA CLC 240 or 280, Corsair H115i, Corsair H150 PRO, or use a air cooler, or change the case.

the Palit / Gainward have a length of 285mm.

Unfortunately the only defect of this case is that space is limited

Thanks for the info! I didn't even consider the limited space. I could also get the NZXT X42 also. I'm really trying to avoid top mounting the rad.

I have the ASUS ROG STRIX 8gb card and I really wanted the meshify c... I was SO upset when I found out it wouldn’t fit. I am working on my first ever build and I’m going to go with the p400s, but I much rather get the meshify (if my damn card would fit) lol...

Hahahaha that’s so funny. I had the exact same problem. I bought the meshify c and 2 weeks after I bought it the white version came out. It was too late to return it tho as I already painted half of it. I painted the front mesh, the psu shroud and some of the rear panel white.

Epic build tho man.

The white one is nice. My local microcenter doesn't have it in stock yet and I think it's to late to return it and get my cash back. Did you paint it white?

Yeah I dont think microcenter has it yet. I painted the front mesh and the psu shroud white plus I all the little slots where the gpu is installed. And I kinda painted like a design on the back panel.
