Description

This is my first PC build for 1080p gaming. It has 16 gb of ram, 128 GB ssd for the OS, and 1 tb HDD for mass storage. I got the the Ryzen 5 1600 and the Asus B450-F bundled at a Micro center. The build came together nicely, and I can get 100+ fps on most of the games I play. My sytem before this was a Hp laptop with Intel Hd graphics, so having an actual gaming pc is a great upgrade.

looks like a pretty sensible build to me. parts are balanced, nothing overpriced but ticks all the right boxes. good cooling. Yea nice build, more people should build like this (granted id probably go with cheaper ram kit but meh, thats nitpicking) nice job with the build!

I agree it's a very we balanced build. I like seeing the R5 1600 still pop up esp since I'm still rocking it

The ram prices are amazing right now. I paid 240 euro's for 16gb 3200mhz hyperx predator back in 2017.

Yea they are. ddr4 was nuts back in the day and that's why I said my comment was nitpicking. I would have cheaped out with a 2400 kit for 50 bucks

Agree with the others, solid choices.

Personally, I would have shaved a bit off of the motherboard, RAM, and case and grabbed a RX 5700.
