Description

Work-Play-Station

Since some of you guys want me to add some descriptions, then here we go.

I called this build Born From Ashes since i built this from tight budget and effort to look after some used and leftover parts around country. I bought bundle pack of i5 4670K, MSI Z87-GD65, MSI GTX 660 and CM Storm Recon for $550 as last sales from bankrupt IT online shop (this price is super cheap in south east asia). I went some places to buy used parts such as Casing, HDD, PSU, Keyboard for cheap price. Some parts were new such as RAM, and bundle of casing fans which are 2x Aerocool Shark Blue and 3x Aerocool Lightning Red for $30 (yes those color doesn't match, but money!). Later i bought 2 Acer G225HQ monitors for $120 as used parts from cyber cafe. Lastly a friend gave me SSD that he took out from his company trash bin (international company, old parts went direct to the trash)

So the conclusion is, for those effort and value buy I really satisfied with its performance and value.

Not bad. Could you maybe talk about your build in the description section? Give us a story on how it came to be, or just talk about its performance and why the specific parts featured were used. Thanks. -Aviator

Should have got some blue LED strip and why no description even if you just say "this is my first build. It is fast..." -1 (until description until written)

I don't GAF about a description like these other tools. I mean it's just going be the same exact cut and paste b.s. about this or that budget and Im going to play abc games on it. Who cares?

The description section is on this site for a reason. I know the details that are usually written are repetitive, but it gives each user the opportunity to tell their story on how their build came to be, what it is used for, and the person's overall opinion on the final product. Many users here look forward to reading a description along with a submitted build.

That's your opinion of why the description is there. I don't think the first 4 comments should be whinning about no description. Ridiculous, imo. Maybe he didn't want to say anything. He should have that right on his own build to do so.

FYI he added a description which added nothing new to me. Same as 99% of every other one. Budget blah blah blah, same thing.

And with that description, his build sounds a ton better than before, and looks more professional. Hell, even your build has a description. It's a common trait on this site, that's all. Now- do you need to write one? No, of course not. However, the negative votes will roll in without one. Take a chill man, i'm just trying to help out.

Never said it wasn't a bad idea. But shouldn't be put on the level of being more important than pics and parts list like you and others make it to be. That's not what makes it interesting. And most here are just guys at home, where do you get a professional description? And who exactly is a pro getting paid to do this?

I already know everyone's description is going a be blah blah this budget, found this part on sale, blah glah for gaming in 1080p. Heard this before?
