Description

General purpose build, emphasis on gaming - took a bunch of parts from a previous build - New CPU Cooler, new MoBo, additional 8GB RAM, new 850 EVO SSD, new case - Absolutely in love with the case I ended up with - Corsair 780T looks amazing and cable management is as easy as can be - GTX 760 2GB has been holding its own for a while, but will probably be my next component to upgrade (maybe also the PSU if the GPU requires more) - Keeping Windows on the 850 EVO - Has major issues with the previous MoBo (Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0), couldn't figure out what was wrong with the system - swapped in this one and it's been perfect since.

Any advice on upgrades is always appreciated

Update 7/17/15 Just received my Asus GeForce GTX 970 Turbo 4GB yesterday. Now I'm happy :)

How has the GTX 970 Turbo been faring? It is currently on sale on Newegg and I'm trying to debate between buying it or the strix version.

How's performance in game? Alsi, just curious, between the 850 evo and the 840 evo, do you notice faster read/write speeds?Great build! +1

Haven't had a chance to really put it through it's paces this week - but Battlefield Hardline ran smoothly on high settings. No difference in performance with 850 evo vs 840 evo. Thanks!

Haven't yet - but looking forward to it. I hear the ASUS bios is great for that.
