My first computer build since 2012. I had been using an Alienware 15 R3 gaming laptop, but the mobo died on me and it couldn't run VR well after replacement. I got a work from home job and decided to finally go back to a desktop and build this beauty. :)

My main focus was to be able to play VR games on the Valve Index with a high refresh rate and detailed graphics and prep for possibly getting a Cosmos for wireless VR. (Ended up deciding against the Cosmos for now.) This computer did everything I wanted and so much more! VR felt like I was experiencing it for the first time again. After playing VR for hours the GPU and CPU both didn't go above 80C. Fans are very quiet (compared to the laptop I'm used to, of course.)

The side panel glass was stuck in my case and we ended up having to break it to get it to come out. NZXT responded pretty quickly and send a replacement glass within a week. The fan was kind of confusing to install as all of the parts for both AMD and Intel chipsets are in one bag and there are no words, just vaguely drawn pictures in their install guide. Ended up watching a video to identify the parts and placements I needed to get it in right.

The RGB lighting on everything is really nicely done, but I can't get Asus Aura Sync to keep my color settings after shutdown. I've saved the sync on shutdown settings almost daily and it keeps defaulting to rainbow after startup. (If you have any suggestions to fix, please let me know!) The RAM is beautiful and probably the brightest RGB lights I have in the case, but I ended up having to uninstall iCue to get my Void Elite headphones to work, so hopefully, there's an update soon.

Absolutely! I don't have a 4k monitor but it worked well on my 4k TV. My VR headset has two 2K lenses and that runs on high/ultra graphics at 120hz.
