My second build, a AMD build.
Using for games like Fortnite, PUBG, League of Legends and Apex.
Use the pc now a while, runs fine.
Only having sometimes problems with my GPU.
nice build would be better if I did not see microsoft edge on it tho, lol!
Never used it haha
What are those fans?
Those fans are from AliExpress, pretty good.
They dont make much noise and are really fast.
Aigo dr12, search it on Ali if you like it. You can also check reviews on YouTube!
Did you update the bios? it says warning
The max can run without bios update, but i did do the bios update because AMD had a lot of crashes in the first few months
oh ok thanks
B450 Max motherboards from MSI come with BIOS supporting 3rd gen Ryzen out of the box
Yeah I’m pretty sure he would’ve had to, otherwise it wouldn’t have recognized the cpu and wouldn’t get into windows. Either that, or the board could’ve possibly came with the compatible bios out of the box.
nice build, you can buy the 5700 blower design and use the extra money to put it on water and get close to XT performance. https://www.pcgamesn.com/amd/radeon-rx-5700-unlock-overclock-undervolt
Even said in the site that it couldn't get full amount out of the card, binning in use. A gpu water block is at least 100 or spend that on a xt or anniversary.
Did you have any issues with ram compatibility? Could you get it to run at its rated speed with no problems?
The only reason I'm asking is I'm getting the same mobo and ram but the ram isnt on the motherboard memory qvl
Nope, you check here if its supported.
I bought it anyway, it wasnt on the list but works perfectly fine at rated speeds with msi A-XMP
Hello dude, I have a question. I have Ryzen 3600 too and rtx 2060 as gpu, I am about to buy msi tomahawk b450 max and I want to know is there any temp problems or any other issues that you are suffering? Some people in the forums said that the cpu getting too hot with tomahawk. Thank you.
Not above 80 degrees with stock cooler
How is the the MSI Optix MAG322CQRV 31.5 going for you? considering buying one but cant find any reviews on it...
Really like it, went from 24 tot 31.5 inch and love it
Thanks for sharing the build! looks great. Curious what's causing GPU issues?
