This was actually my second HTPC build. My first one had much older hardware. (EVGA 680i SLI, Intel Q6600, 8GB DDR2 ram, HD 4850/GTX 460) and wasn't much to look at or even post. So, this was a dedicated HTPC and emulator gaming rig. It worked really well for what I used it for. I actually took this one apart last week in order to upgrade/build a media center/HTPC. Basically I had some spare parts and I purchased a motherboard and a power supply to complete it.
I absolutely LOVE Fractal Design. The Define Mini actually was my first case from them and I've been highly, highly impressed with it. Definitely the BEST case maker on the market right now.
Windows 8 was perfect in this sense. Combined with the K400 keyboard, excellent media center combo. Only thing this was missing was a TV Tuner card.
Anyway, comments, questions are always welcome. Thanks for looking.
