Description

This build was created mainly for gaming with plenty of upgrade ability in the future. Over the moon with the end result!

Great first build and good quality construction. However I’m baffled why you spent £105 on a 650w PSU? I understand that it is gold certified and fully modular but you can get some very solid power supplies which are fully modular for £70-80. You may have been able to spend that on more storage, or invest it in a 2070.

Thank you. 650w gives me more than adequate headroom for future upgrades I plan on making. I chose that PSU because amazon have it on sale for £84.98. Thanks for the feedback!

I didn’t realise that you got it on a sale lol. In that case then it was a good idea to nab a psu like that one.

Because he felt like it. Maybe he got it on a sale or was future-proofing

This is the second build I've seen you complain about the PSU. It really isn't that big of a deal and PSU prices are all over the place nowadays.

An rtx 2060 super is better than the 2070. The rtx 2060 super is currently the best choice

The rtx 2070 is better than the 2060 super though.

Did you have to Update your motherboards BIOS to be compatible with your gen 3 ryzen CPU?

Nice clean build. we have almost the same set-up, how are those CPU temps? both idle and on-load with stock wraith cpu fan?

Thanks very much! I’ve not checked much yet, I got the build finished late last night and I haven’t had the chance to use it today. I’ve read plenty of reviews that say the stock cooler is ample for gaming which is all I plan to do. I’ll invest in an aftermarket cooler when I eventually get round to overclocking my CPU which I plan to do in the near future.
