Gerrow29 -6 points 34 months ago

How is it tough times when you're buying a computer like that?

Valiant_ 3 Builds 2 points 33 months ago

Budget prolly went to the build. who cares. i use a 2 dollar yard sale older than myself probably keyboard. i cant kill it.

FPS_Spartan_Builds 4 points 34 months ago

I have to admit for the price its an awesome keyboard ( I have one btw )

Inferno331 2 points 34 months ago

I have one as a replacement for laptop, it's not bad but there are better keyboards out there

floridaboz 4 Builds 15 points 35 months ago

You know it makes it very hard to scroll past a build, when anywhere in the title it says 4 Titan Xs. Then again, if your Linus, they are just counterweights.

There is not much i can say about this build, Just completely awesome.

WaggishCrowd80 1 Build 3 points 27 months ago

lol

Micha2017 3 points 11 months ago

Linus uses a Titan X to prevent his papers from flying around.

Sanderman135 9 points 35 months ago

Oh man, $10 mail-in rebate. What a steal! I'll take 5.

ThugginMcMuffin 3 Builds 3 points 35 months ago

How the living hell are you able to run this with just 1600W power supply? granted, it is platinum rated, but still....THATS FOUR TITAN X's.

floridaboz 4 Builds 2 points 35 months ago

I think he would be safe as long as he was not running under full load all the time, but yeah, if he is running under full load, i could see him using all 1600 Watts.

SetupAddict 2 points 35 months ago

I have a similar build; and in reality it actually takes 1300 Watts. That is the exact reason that I use Triple 1440p, because with Triple 4K stuttering is a ******* problem.

floridaboz 4 Builds 1 point 35 months ago

I have always wondered if there would be a issue with triple 4k with 4 titan X's, i guess i know now.

patrick77 1 Build 1 point 35 months ago

full price breakdown says only 1300W

toddcuber1002 1 point 28 months ago

You can OC the 5960X to almost 4.5 Ghz.

SUPerGROVer2.0 2 Builds 1 point 35 months ago

FTR, because I feel the need to clarify, Having a platinum psu rating doesn't effect the psu's power output. a 1000w bronze and a 1000 platinum both put out the same amount of power, the efficiency rating has to do with draw from the wall and heat lost. . . THAT'S IT! "granted, it is platinum rated, but still..." is completely irrelevant.

ThugginMcMuffin 3 Builds 1 point 35 months ago

I know the wattage is the same, I feel like I did not explain my reasoning very well lol. What I was trying to say is that the difference between platinum and say bronze rating is how efficient it is. What I was trying to say is that a 1000W bronze is not as likely to be able to take the output that a 1000w Platinum would be able to. again, im probably explaining myself VERY poorly lol.

As163 submitter 1 Build 4 points 35 months ago

It's actually titanium.

personwhoknowshowtobuildstuff 1 Build 1 point 33 months ago

This will never be at 100% plus the T2 is actually pretty good all the way up to 2000w

ThugginMcMuffin 3 Builds 2 points 35 months ago

It must have made you a bit nervous shipping over $4,000 all at once lol.

As163 submitter 1 Build 1 point 35 months ago

You won't believe what i had to go through,a total of 6 parts had to be returned. 2 of which were returned because i found something better(i returned a HDD for a SSD as software main, and a air cooler because water cooler was better) . There were 4 incompatible parts that i had to return and order again.

chrisdude183 2 points 32 months ago

If you want benchmarks, i'm still deciding which software is the best. Tips or suggestions would be nice

ThugginMcMuffin 3 Builds 4 points 35 months ago

Aida64 for CPU, Cinebench R15, 3D Mark, any of the Unigine benchmarks. Firestrike is a Favorite of everybody's.

dalethezombie 2 Builds 1 point 35 months ago

bruh

MooseyPie 6 Builds 1 point 35 months ago

That's a great list...but cmon man! All that money to spend on the PC and no mechanical keyboard?!

As163 submitter 1 Build 7 points 35 months ago

Blew all my budget on the actual PC, had none for fancy keyboards left, the box the parts came in were pretty big which is nice, considering i live in them now.

Dabomb0421 1 point 18 months ago

Omg lol m8 right

saturn7601 1 Build 1 point 35 months ago

4 Titans and 5960X, puts in asrock mobo...

As163 submitter 1 Build 5 points 35 months ago

Something wrong with Asrock mobo?

saturn7601 1 Build -4 points 35 months ago

They are not really known to be good for high-end builds because of their reliability and quality.

philphaser 12 Builds 5 points 35 months ago

Had ASRock MoBo ones. Worked liked a charm. Heard nothing but good things about the latest (HiEnd) Boards too.

Inferno331 4 points 35 months ago

I've had a Asrock for 3+ years now

nealosis 7 Builds 3 points 35 months ago

I've got 4 gaming PCs in my house, all of which use ASRock boards. Their boards are great.

austinp2001 4 points 35 months ago

I have a as rock motherboard and it is great.

saturn7601 1 Build -4 points 35 months ago

It's fine for the average consumer but if your going to be using them in a business environment, such as a PC builder, then the chances of people coming back with problems is higher if you use an AsRock board in each pc.

devydee 1 point 35 months ago

I was thinking the same thing...

mrarchitect1 1 point 35 months ago

The one amazing quality of that motherboard is that it has 2 x M.2 Ultra sockets. which have speeds upto 32gb/s for each M.2 socket. which when put into Raid 0, would mean super fast read and write speeds. how comes you didn't uses this as storage for you operating system and application or priority files etc. ????????

PCMOUSE 1 point 35 months ago

there i fixed it PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/BwNT6h

Saif_faisal 1 point 35 months ago

i hope you enjoy with it.

harshi 1 point 35 months ago

lmao

RxS47 1 point 34 months ago

How is your motherboard holding up? I'm on the fence about it. I've never had an ASRock mb

Despicable_Human 1 point 34 months ago

Amazing build mate!!! +1 from me! I'm working on saving up for a PC now, I don't mind the price but I want to know what you think. If you could check it out and let me know that would be great! - https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Despicable_Human/saved/qDXD4D

EchoArda 1 point 34 months ago

I , CANT STOP FAPPING...... , But intresting build with an octa core cpu and quad Titans

aliencds 1 Build 1 point 33 months ago

sweet build. My 2 Titan's keep my room nice and toasty. I can only imagine what 4 does.

Micha2017 1 point 11 months ago

lol

Munster19 1 point 30 months ago

And now there's a new king on the block for a lot less than a Titan. Although it apparently won't like more than 2-way SLI. Not saying it won't be possible, just not recommended by nvidia. Probably would have cut the cost by like 1000. Maybe more.

gavnnater45 1 Build 1 point 24 months ago

What fps does it run minesweeper?

HamPlayz 1 point 13 months ago

All 4 way slli Titan x builds on Pcpp deserve +1

rcrultimate823 1 point 10 months ago

so you have 4 titan x's but only a 2TB hard drive

Berfs1 1 Build 0 points 22 months ago

uh, why not the i7-6900K or i7-6950X? The 6900K is faster, and pretty much the same cost. The 6950X has 2 more cores, 4 more threads, and 5MB more cache. Both support Turbo Boost Max 3.0 technology. And both are 14nm (versus 22nm).

Neccarus 1 point 19 months ago

You should check the date on the build before making suggestions like this. He built this PC before those were even available.

MuchLinux6500 2 Builds 0 points 21 months ago

spends multi-thousand dollars on a computer... $185 of that is spent on storage. LOL! :) Amazing build! 4 titan Xs! +1
