Description

Been playing more pc games lately, and the Fiance wants to join me at times. Mostly World of Warcraft. So I decided to build her a budget pc for her birthday. I got everything off Amazon except the case. Used my Amazon store card for most of it. Put it together today, reused some old components that I had. 430w Power supply, and one my old 9800GTS. The power supply 4 pin power cable is to short for the case so I still need to lengthen it and plug it in. This case is pretty great bang for your buck. Only case at the price point that offers great cable management, and a bottom mounted P/S. Only thing is you get what you pay for. The case itself is pretty flimsy. Anyways sorry for the pictures. Ill update this when I get the OS installed.

Also, I painted the DVD drive to match. didn't come out perfect. But overall I am happy.

Other than the questionable use of an SSD, you did really well. I'm guessing she won't be putting much on it?

It looks like he has an HDD in the bottom right.

Could be the SSD, as the one on top is the Optical Drive, but if it is, he didn't list that.

This case has a weird ssd mount, I was planning on mounting it in the top hdd bay, but sata power adapter wouldn't reach. The SSD is mounted on thr right side above the drive bays. There is a door that pops out and the drive mounts to the back of it. You can see the power cable connecting at the right side, behind the door.

I had a good time with that case too. +1 keeping it clean and cheap!

Thanks, I was a little worries originally about the case, but overall I'm very happy with it.

i'm stuck with something for about the same specs (dell xps 420) and the 9800gt has been great for all of my games at medium to high settings at 1050p. not bad for mild gaming
