Hi Guys ! here is my Red Dragon build! I use it for work and 1080p gaming! This is my first ever PC build.

It took quite a time to finish this build, 9 months. I live in Ukraine and not all parts are available here or they are overpriced, so I ordered PSU, RAM and CPU Cooler from USA Amazon. Usual deal, you would say, but not for one who lives over seas in another part of globe. Risk of package damage was too high but prices also were to sweet comparing to the local stores. So I took a risk and thankfully everything arrived in a good condition:) Also I could not order it all at once because of import fees, so I was waiting part by part in average for 3 weeks each.

The rest of the hardware I bought here, in Ukraine. Case, CPU, Mobo, Drives. Only thing left for build is GPU, but it was already a solid rig for programming. I knew I want exactly MSI GTX1060 Gaming X 6gb for my build to fit color scheme, but long time it was not available because of mining boom. At all I ended with MSI GTX1060 Gaming 6gb card when it became available in a reasonable price.

From disadvantages I can name negative air pressure in the case(and I don't really know how to make it positive), also I had some problems with case lightings but it got fixed by it self in magic way.

So I'm proud to present you my build NZXT/MSI Red Dragon. Enjoy it :-)

Beautiful set-up. I don't even like Red but I'm digging this.

Thank you!

I can't stand how washed out the red is on the MSI logo. I have the same GPU and when I put that LED to "RED" it looks more of a pink, it grinds my gears. I wish it were a deeper actual red.

beautiful set up. Where did you get the table BTW? It would be perfect for my set up as mine is going to be black and red.

thanks and well done

hi! Originally I wanted this desk https://shop.prospecdesigns.eu/product/r2-br/ but it is pricey and not available in my country. so I just took blueprints of that desk from the website and went to local furniture shop. they made similar table for 200$.

Hey there, you have a great build. I too will have a generally red setup soon. I match several of your parts: the mobo Z370 (as I went for the 8th gen Intel i7), the 1060 6GB, 550W PSU and memory. I am wondering: have you had any troubles whatsoever with power consumption? Most builds with these cards have at least 650-750W. Though I am going with the 550W supernova because of its efficiency.

thanks for advice! I added my question on forum https://pcpartpicker.com/forums/topic/239015-nzxt-h440-how-to-achieve-positive-air-pressure

and sorry, English is not my native language, so I do silly mistakes :-p
