I used to have that CPU and switched it out 3 weeks ago, good for what it is but these days I felt very limited by it, and no GPU? idk what games you are going to play but I would recommend a 750ti or something in the 80-110 dollar range :)

So true! I have a GTX 950 sitting around so I may add it to this pc. This was built to sell. I bought 3 when the deal was going on (cpu/mobo combo), so if gpu's are needed, I will be getting 2 750ti's.

750 Ti no sli support and motherboard does not support SLI if your talking about this PC :D

Oh na. I bought 3 mobo/cpu combos. I have 1 gtx 950 already. I will get 2 single 750 ti's for the other 2. Should be good for gaming then. Just tested CS:GO. 20-25 fps. Waiting on a 705ti sell now.

Yeah the 750ti will help those frames significantly, I am going to probably be putting a few of them into builds that I am going to be building for my school's E-Sports Club.

He meant that he has 2 different PC's that he built with the stock he had from a sale. He's buying a GPU for EACH of those said PC's.

Add the GTX 950, as Dii said, neither the 750's or your motherboard support sli, so unless you wanna buy a new gpu or just it not have one, the 950 is your only option

Yes, I will buy 2 750ti's since the price is getting a bit lower (W/MIR). I build pc's on the side so its no prob. Just need to see the right deal.

I'd still use the 950 in that PC, might as well use the most powerful card you have and then reserve those for the next 2 builds.

yeap!! That's the plan. If I catch some good deals on 950's, I will get those as well for the other 2. That 950 put up some good numbers on AAA games. Even The Divison. Used the 950 until I got my 970 (paired with I5-6600k).

You have a pretty good workstation build, I would not call it a gaming build. Dual cores are on their way out as far as gaming goes, and no GPU. I have a build with a G3258 without a GPU and it cannot game for anything. Trine has to run on low settings and forget anything 3D.

Ty! Ya, I tested 1 game so far (CS:GO). Didn't pay attention to settings, but only got 20-25 fps. Going to add gtx 950 to this pc (Have one from my last pc). Have watched some videos on youtube. With a OC to cpu, should do ok with gaming.

Ya, with that 950 you should be gaming pretty good. The quad core is really only needed on the newer AAA titles, though that will change over the next few years. I really like the G3258 myself, I feel it single handily killed the 4th gen i3's; and is still good competition to the 6th gen i3. if it was not for the HT of the i3's the 3258 would be hands down better.

as i have read on the other comments the GPU is a must if its used for gaming and if your going to sell dont rip anyone off because it wont run any games good at all unless are platformers or source engine

Wouldn't rip anyone off. When I go to sell, I give full knowledge that a gpu would be way better (Also have gpu's at my house which I can/will add depending on if they want it). Some prefer to get their own. Up to them.

also i forgot to mention i know whoever you bought the combo from watched Austin Evans video on overclocking the Pentium anniversary and he used that board but your gonna need a CPU cooler to make this build all it can be a hyper 212 EVO will allow you to overclock up to 4.6-4.8 if you got good silicon so make sure you do that because the CPU is really nothing special until you overclock it

Combo came from newegg around a month ago lol. Just a little backed up so I'm just getting to this one. For OC, I see a lot of other builders do it here and youtube. I should google Austin Evans video. Never seen it.

That price is nowhere near what I spent. I got some good deals/price matches on this.

Lol. Coming soon. Ill update the pics tomorrow when I put the 950 in it. I thought it would do better with just the internal graphics, but I have not OC yet also. Depends on the client.
