Description

Hello PC builder community i present to you my 3rd pc build!hope you like it :) apologies in advance i haven't done any bench mark yet.

CPU: fit right on my budget this processor should be enough for my day to day use.bought from new.

OS:Window's 7 home Premium will do for now. i'll be upgrading next month to a window's 8.1 once i get my m.2 ssd.

CPU COOLER: a low profile cpu cooler will do for this build.i'm all into air cooling to be honest haven't even tried CLWC set up.

THERMAL COMPOUND: well most people know why this paste....almost the same performance as the old MX-2,i had some laying around.

MOBO: this new model should do well since i'm not gonna do any overclocking anyway at the moment...future upgrade on the cpu for an open core i5 for oc* purpose is on my head, now there are 2 version's of this mobo simply the other one had wifi/bluetooth built in and more heatsink's while this one is the opposite.

RAM: 16 gig might be over the top but to me..with that price cant pass it.

GPU: a low power graphics card that pack's a punch with this price i'ts a sweet deal for me.

FAN CONTROLLER: this one's just a recycle from my old build.5 led light change and a 6 route fan controller.it wont fit with the drive bay mount so i have to improvise and remove it from the chassis, what i did was use the sticky cable mount's so it holds it as a lock and will not move, as seen in the pic.

CASE FAN + HEAT-SINK FAN: i love this brand i had the first version of these fan's and they are quite excellent!so for my new build i bought their newest version and still love it, cool's great and look's good.

PSU: just another recycle'd part from my old build.very nice PSU with a push button for hybrid and normal fan mode.again this one didn't fit with the fan grill so i had to open up the PSU and remove it.

STORAGE:1 TB is more than enough..i know...no SSD why?i was hoping to get an M.2 but i ran out of budget face palm but definitely next month i'll get one, if there is ever...a BLACK FRIDAY sale here in u.k.

CASE: torn between this and bitfenix prodigy m, after alot of debate with myself like a crazy cockatoo i went with this, no regrets very well build case.

other stuff use'd: 4D CARBON Fibre Vinyl Wrap Gloss White,Scissor's,Isopropyl Alcohol,Measuring Tape/Ruler,Pen,Zip tie's White,Self Adhesive Cable Tie's Base Mount Black,Scalpel Trimaway Knife(EXTREMELY SHARP),Patience lots of it... Thank's for dropping by leave a comment like or dislike, any suggestion's or part's that could have been a better option all opinions are welcome.

So many fans in such a small space!

yeah i know, i tried to fit as much as i can, i was also planning to put 2x 80mm fan's at the back but the cable management space and routing is so tight i just went with 2x 120mm side and a 200mm front.

I cant' understand how you manage to place this drive bay... Oo

its not a drive bay its a fan controller :), the optical support for the 250d make's it impossible for my fan controller to fit in due to a gap on the fan controller, probably about 0.5mm in thickness so i had to improvise and remove the optical support and after that it fit nicely the only problem is it has no support so it wiggle's and unstable, so i used those self adhesive cable base mount and position it just on the edge near the front panel bay is so it hold's it as a lock and viola!it's on the picture actually don't know if you can see it properly :x

"so i used those self adhesive cable base mount and position it just on the edge near the front panel bay" yep that's this part I haven't understand, can't see clearly on your picture. In fact I had to do the same thing so I'm interested.

yep that's what i did it will definitely work on a 5'25 FC housing like the sentry mix 2 but if on a different FC im not sure since the sentry mix 2's front cover actually stop its from sliding it all the way inside that why i put the adhesive mount's and work's perfectly on a gridlock, anyway gl on that one.

ah that's not so bad easily doable DIY if you can find something like this or something similar http://www.shakunindia.com/admin/show_image.php?filename=/home4/wmsgroup/public_html/shakunindia/userImages/product/1281189942LBrackets.jpg&widht=300&height=400 put one of each near the edge position it when you put the FC on the case use double sided self adhesive foam tape or similar and your good to go it will surely secure it.
