I built this for my home office. I built a couple of gaming pc's last year and this time I just wanted something cool, quiet, reliable, and reasonably fast to upgrade my aging office pc. My old office pc was built with hand me down parts and was basically an Athlon x2 4200+ , or something like that.

I started out wanting to built as cheap as possible and then decided to go with inexpensive but still quality parts.

Upgrade-ability was also a consideration.

All in all I am very happy with this build. Its very snappy for my office tasks and runs cool and quiet. Some day I might pop in an I5 cpu just for fun.

Part Reviews

Nice and quick for my office tasks. I have an I5 gaming pc and there is very little difference for basic computer use. Internet, ms office, videos, etc.

I like it. Looks cool, I like the white LEDS that shine from underneath. More of a gaming MB I guess but it works well for my office pc.

Works as it should and looks nice. Would buy again.

Fast enough for me. For the price I think it's a deal.

Video Card

Nice looking white low profile card. Not the fastest but it's fast enough for my office pc and I can still play a little Grid Auto sport if I'm bored of the office work ;) Anything faster cost quite a lot more.

Excellent. I built three computers this year and I think this is my favorite case. Good price too.

Power Supply

Quiet, looks good and gets good reviews online. Time will tell if it's reliable.

Wireless Network Adapter

Works! I used to use a USB network adapter. This is much better. Stays connected, speeds are good enough for the office.

Good deal. $12 for the mouse and keyboard and they are just fine. A nicer mouse with a back button might be a future upgrade.

I just built a home/office PC using the same CPU.

Nice, must be a solid desktop performer! +1

Actually HD 530 GRAPHICS is better than GT 730

This is a LOT more then just an office build. I am very confident that this processor can render/game very nicely, a all around solid build! +1

Neat build, but wouldn't the integrated graphics on the cpu beat out the GT 730?

No, the gt730. ddr5 is much faster.

Fair enough, while the igpu is higher performance, dedicated DDR5 vram could easily give the nvidia card the advantage. Nice build!

The only weakness of the G4400 is its bad integrated graphics. A slight investment in a better GPU would be great for the overall performance for this build.k

Nice PC for the office but, Im sorry to say, but the difference between the integrated graphics and the GPU you bought is minimal.

From what I've read it should be 3 to 4 times faster. It was on sale and cheap enough so as long as it's somewhat faster its all good.
