Description

Before this I had a older desktop rocking a sweet GTX 660 and a AMD FX 4100. It was ran off older used parts that I did upgrade later. Swapping in a 770 and a Hyper 212 Evo. Something happened to the hard drives I think. I don't even know and I tore it apart and sold some the the parts.

After some relatively hard work and saving money. Or more accurately, "Hey a cheap pc part on ebay. YOLO AM I RIGHT." Sorry. I slowly started buying parts. I wanted something that looked decent. So I decided on the completely original. Black and White in an H440. I didn't want to cheap out, but I also didn't want to go too overkill. I always had a thing for gigabyte since they made my first 660, and some canadian youtuber named Linus liked or so I guess he knows what he's talking about.

The ram in the pictures currently is not actually the patriot, but a stick of gskills I stole from my brother. The gskills is in a friend of mine computer's that is actually mine. The red K70 clearly does not match being red. Neither did the Graphics Card's led at first, since it was blue. After thinking, and the fact that the x61 Kraken's white led was not very bright, I added the little bit of blue to spice it up.

The SSD is actually not screwed in and is upside down, since the RX850's sata connectors are right angle. The 3TB is for my music, movies and general storage. The 2TB is for games I don't play that often or are too large for my SSD (I.E. GTA V.) I have an older 5400rpm 120GB drive I might put in for Linux eventually.

The monitor is old and I need a new one. I also use a tv for a secondary. The speakers are ok, and are connected to the DAC, which occasionally has issues. Which I did get used on ebay.

Awesome setup. You might want to think about trying out a different SSD if you find your speeds are significantly below advertised. The V300 series from Kingston is the bottom of the barrel for Solid States.

Well, I only had a 5400rpm drive in my old laptop and a few WD greens in my old desktop so I guess this SSD is better than nothing.

It does yes. However the LED on the Kraken does not have a very nice white to it, and it appears more blue. And I cannot recommend this mobo really. Unless you must have the colors or are on a budget, it is not that great. However part of why I feel this way is that my mobo decided to brick itself mid GTA 5. If you want the best AM3+ mobo your best getting the Gigabyte 990fx ud3.
