Description

This is my daily driver so I use it for mostly gaming and web browsing. As far as building in the case, the only problems I ran into was that you have to cram the power supply cables in rather tight to get the back panel on, and the CPU coolers lowest fin sits on top of one of the RAM's heat spreaders. However, even having cable management space behind the motherboard at all on a $30 case is amazing. I also had issues booting up since I used the hard drives from my old system. All I had to do for Kubuntu was tell it to fix broken packages. For Windows I had to re-install the OS. The last problem I had was that my video card came in way late, so I had to use my old HD 5830 for about a week. The only part from this build that I would not recommend is the motherboard because it doesn't have an internal USB 3.0 header. However, the motherboard has performed beautifully and the bios has every feature I need.

Initially I just put it in randomly, but now that I have my exhaust out the top instead of the rear ti works out great.

I think what you're thinking of is DSR, Dynamic Super Resolution. I think that's what it's called, but if I named Nividia's counterpart, you get the point. It's the same thing.

AMD's version is called VSR I think (virtual super resolution). Basically the same deal.

If you got a M5A97 R2.0 without the LE it would have an internal USB 3.0 header.
