Description

I had a really tough time getting any work done from home, so I thought "What the hell, I'll build a machine that takes advantage of three screens!"

I exclusively run linux (so no 3DMark stats), hopefully some games are released soon that take advantage of a tri-monitor setup (Planetary Annihilation will!).

Also, the pictures are all out of order. I can't figure out how to reorganize them.

+1 for your background alone. Great looking build too though lol. It's nice to see another Linux user around these parts.

The amount of people mounting this cpu cooler wrong is too damm high. Flip the fan to the right side, the fan is an intake obviously because it takes in cool air through the heatsink.

I flipped it around, and temps are exactly the same (within uncertainty). I understand that it is important the air is being pushed out with both fans though.

If I wanted another two sticks of RAM I would have to flip it around again :s.

Nice setup! How do you like that particular case? I am kinda on the fence about it right now... +1 from me!

It's without a doubt the nicest case I've ever used. Cable management is incredibly simple, hard drive mounting is effortless, tons of fan space.

I am in love with this case.

I hope you realize that 2GB of VRAM on that 770 won't be sufficient for 3 1080p monitors running a resolution of 5760x1080? One 1080p monitor can eat 2GB of VRAM easily, if you play any intense gaming, it will eat the 2GB very easily. I'd suggest looking into selling that 2GB 770, and grabbing a 4GB 770 or 3GB 780.

I don't expect to be doing any heavy gaming. If it becomes a problem, I'll get a card with more VRAM but I've been more than happy with how the system has been running so far.

The ram placement is wrong btw. But overall that's a really solid build. I want to see what kind of FPS you get on that beast.
