Huh? The CX isn't going to explode (unless you do stupid things with it or something), it's just more likely to die sooner than its competitors. I'm not going to claim it's bad, but I am going to claim it's not great. For $80, and for a build of this price point, one could get a better PSU that will last longer.

Anyway, it's not going to stop people from complaining.

No its not going to explode. I was just imitating other people and what they have said.

Ah, yes. Some people do look more poorly upon the CX than it deserves. I still wouldn't personally recommend one, though.

yeah i dont either. I was just saying all the complaints ive heard people say so other people wont have the need too :) I do recommend it for lower end builds around 350-600

Nice build! My Mom is still running an i7-860, they are still really good processors given that they are old.

Yeah not that bad. They still outperform modern pentiums and i3s

I'm a sysadmin that belonged to an employee who "worked from home" (didn't work at all) she tried to wipe her company machine before returning when she was fired. SMDH while doing a bit-by-bit recovery

lol yeah, I have had that happen a couple time at my work. It is very rare but I have seen it happen. Usually when something bad happens they try to fix it themselves when that's not how it works.

Very unique! Don't see that i7 much, nor 24GBs RAM...

A 390 Bottom barrel PSU and a 990X will not work.

PSU recommendation? I believed the reviewers and went with the relatively cheap cx. And great now I need to hunt down that ty-rap.
