Built this for my buddy Vendal as his Gaming rig, but sees use for music & photo storage too. Big treat for him upgrading from a 2500k p7p68 rig!

Wanted "not too much care into the aesthetics", so we settled on a purple theme with white accents, but I couldn't resist including a custom 3d printed front panel IO shield with the gamer handle.

The 303 is a lovely case, but a VERY tight fit with bottom mounted radiator. It's do-able if you route all cables prior to fitting the motherboard and rad. No custom sleeves for cables as it was 'unnecessary expense.'

Also, the Samsung 850 SSD is missing from the photos as it was being lifted from a previous build. It goes in the slot to the left of the Aurora lighting control box, hence the strapped up cabling in the photo's.

Shout out to Ethan @ InWin for sending a replacement control box after a fault with the first one we received.

Part Reviews

CPU Cooler

Not the best AIO for raw cooling power, but good build quality, clean connections, and an understated design.

Great looking board with sensible placements for the most part. USB3 side mounted would have been a nice addition.

Good BIOS and tuning capability for simple overclocks.

Tight timings, good speeds, RGB and aura sync. What's not to love?

Lovely tower which is nearly perfect at this size.

140mm top fan mounts, clear/rgb front lighting, and an extra 10mm clearance at the bottom of the case would make this an auto pick in every build.

As is stands, it's fiddly with an ATX motherboard and bottom mounted fans/radiator.

Looks lovely though, I'd buy it again (with a M-ATX mobo).

Power Supply

Good small sized (150cm) atx unit with plenty of power and fully modular cabling. No issues buying again.

Did you see the Inwin 303C case it has a usb 3.1 type c port instead of 2 usb 2.0 ports.

I did, and better front panel! But it's no-where to be seen for UK availability!

$1800 build and sleeved cables are an unnecessary expense? lol. Great build though!

Kaurmath submitter 1 Build 1 point 18 months ago

Yep, apart from the £30 front panel printing, everything else is "no unnecessary aesthetics".

I would have gone for the sleeves though ;)

Ah I see. Well whatever they want lol

Just curious, why not install the rad fans to pull air from the bottom? Dust?

Kaurmath submitter 1 Build 1 point 18 months ago

That's exactly how they're set up. Bottom trio are intake, rear is intake, top are exhaust.

There's a filter on the bottom to keep dust at bay :)
