My first build since 1998, LOL, but seriously.
Needed a small case for my home working space, was trying to decide between Raven RNV-02 and Node 202. Decided to go with the Node because of it's clean and subtle look. Installation for the case wasn't hard, but need to plan the cables first.
CPU COOLER: first I bought a Thermalright AXP-100, despite other success build, I wasn't able to make it fit on my board, it's either pushing the RAM or it doesn't touch the CPU property due to the height of the WIFI module. so then I had to switch to CRYORIG C7, the installation of the fan was painless once you get the back plate on, which takes some effort and the back plate seems slightly bent.
VIDEO CARD: It fits perfectly, I saw a youtube video saying that it doesn't fit, but it fits fine. I would suggest you install the GPU separately after you install the L-shape adapter. but my first card failed after I booted up windows, so had to get a new one, and it's working fine now.
POWER SUPPLY: I tried to run a bench mark, then I guess it went really hot, and the fan of the PSU turned on, and man it was LOUD, sounded like the fan was scrubbing some kind of cable or another piece of metal, not sure if that's normal, but I don't think it's unique case.
UPDATE It turned out that my PSU was a defect, the fan was actually hitting some kind piece, had to exchange a new one and now it's running much cooler.
CASE FAN: the space to install the case fan was really tight, need to install the case fan first before installing the GPU. I currently have the case fan sucking air away from the GPU/CASE, but I might place around with it to see if there's other better options.
UPDATES I inverted the case fan so it's blowing air into the GPU/CASE, now the build is running almost silent!
HACKINTOSH all of the hardware was supported by OS X El Captain 10.11.3 with some driver, except the WIFI and BLUETOOTH (which I didn't bother to try to find the driver either), so now I am running dual boot OS X and WIN 10.
Final thoughts: great small case, really silent. I am really happy about this build.
