Description

I wanted a rig that could run any game on 240+ FPS at ultra settings. I ended up spending a bit more than what I preferred but it is worth it.

CPU: I chose the I9 990K cuz it is quiet fast and is very cheap compared to a Threadripper.

Fan: It looked really cool, honestly but I am not using it cuz the temps get bad sometimes.

Motherboard: I like the plate on the top.

GPU: There are very nice and have a high boost clock.

Ram: It’s fast and it works, that’s all I need.

Case: It costs a lot so it’s good.

Everything else: It’s looks cool.

I ended up not using my fan cuz it was bad so I bought custom water cooling kit.

Nice build!

I just have two questions:

  • Isn't the case on the left an Obsidian 1000D while the one on the right is an Obsidian 500D?

  • Also, why is there an AIO listed in the list when you have a custom loop?

The 9900k supports quad-channel?

No it doesn't. The builder must have the wrong hardware listed. It might be a 9900x not a 9900k

Well, the ROG Maximus XI Extreme is a Z390 board, so the hardware is correct. Also, Z390 has 2 DIMMs per channel, so the hardware would makes sense.
