Description

This build was completed since last april but I have found anytime to post it. I study computer science so im always working one thing or another. Well here it is! Its not much but its honest work :) I did this build because I wanted to be able to play at 1080p@60fps on the games that I liked but when I got the gtx1070, I realized that I was able to play at higher frames so I went with the MSI MAG27c/1080p@144hz with amd free-sync. If I lower some of the details on some games, I’m able to get between 117 to 137 fps. 137 is the cap that I’ve put on it. And that was for triple-A games because on games that are less demanding, I can easily reach the 137 cap.

GFX: I got the card from a friend for 240 cad. At that time brand new it was around 600$. It works perfectly, no artifacts. I got the little annoying buzzing sound but that’s it. It does get hot some times for example when I play star wars bf2. I might need to get an nzxt kraken with a liquid cooling system.

CPU: Its not overclock-able but it gets the job done with a boost clock of 4ghz (actually 3.9). Im am planning on upgrading to the i5-9600k eventually.

Cable management: Since this is my second build, I was able to get my cable management right, this time. The first time was horrible, so I learned from my mistakes.

And that’s pretty much it.

More pictures to come.

Ps: sorry for my bad english, I speak french.
