Description

This is my gaming/ Video editing rig. It always being updated with newer parts so keep checking it out and you may find something new installed. I finally got the water loop done ( for now ) I still have to figure out how to clean up the tubing, im not happy with it at all.

Yes, but I had to remove it when I put the G10 on it.

Solid parts choice!

Great build, especially since you use the kracken g10.

Any particular reason you opted for the reference Ti. Why not a gaming or ACX.

Because I knew I was going with water and I'm not wasting my money on an acx cooler when I know I'm taking it off. And there is no such thing as a gaming version of the TI, they are all gaming cards, but I think you may be talking about the classy?

well i just wanted to know because those cards come with there own tweaks and hardware or software.

I meant the MSI gaming edition, its a very good 780 ti and the benchmarks back it up as it adds a good 15 to 20 fps when overclocked. That a 10% performance boost on top of the gain from the factory tweaks.

Ahhh I thought you were talking an EVGA card, the acx cooler card is the same exact card with a different cooler and slightly higher clock speed, no different hardware and you still use the same EVGA software. I have mine oc'd to 1291 so I'm perfectly happy buying the reference, but I agree the msi lightning is a beast of a card.

Well i smoked my first TI, got a new one in and running. Time for a full custom loop!

so how was the installation of the G10 ? how is the performance increase / GPU temps ?

The installation was cake, I idle at 23c and running stock speeds and voltage I never went above 49c running heaven on a loop three times. In games I would stay around 37c. I actually took it off and put it up for sale, im doing a custom loop soon.
