Description

This is my first build. Turned out great and I plan on updating as it evolves over time. Firstly I will say that i did overpay on many parts simply because i had trouble ordering from sites like newegg and others, so i simply ended up buying almost everything from amazon. However even though i might have paid a bit more, I am very happy with how this pc turned out. please feel free to ask me any questions. thanks.

Looks good. I'm curious though. Why go with a Z97 platform? Was this an older build that you are still modifying?

Yeah, it looks like you could've gone for the updated Z170 and 6700K for similar cost, so I too am curious.

No honestly like i had said it's my first build and i still don't know as much about certain things as i'd like. For instance i didn't know what platform i should have went with, just got one i saw had good reviews and specs in forums.

Wow, this is almost what my computer is. I have the exact same motherboard, video card, CPU, and case.

Lol we have such similiar builds but I have 32GBS of ram, an asrock motherboard. an H100i GTX liquid cooler, a 4790K and 2 MSI GTX 980's, and we both have NZXT cases but mines a Noctis 450. Nice build dude

There wouldn't be a worry about Skynet becoming self-aware if you ran it on AMD; it would just do what you told it to do. It's those Intel chips always going for world domination you need to worry about. :)

We have to go back in time when AMD was better than Intel to fight it!!! xD

That gif is basically what it's like to live in Florida without air conditioning.

The power of the AMD overheat will be too much to handle.

replace the subzero Intel Skynet CPU with a FX 9590..... *warning warning warning! Temperature exceeding thermal limit... 10 seconds to overload... haha

Technically, the kinks still need to be worked out. So we have a few more good years left.
