This was built to replace an aging Pentium D 915 that was barely getting the web browsing job done. This one is great.
The motherboard is awesome for the price, boots in under 5 seconds!
The processor is quite capable, and works like a charm with the CPU cooler. Max temp running prime 95 was 44C, with a 4.3 GHz clock speed. Ram is currently running at 1866 MHz. The CPU cooler was too easy to install. All you do is clip it onto the stock heat sink mounts. My dad mostly does web browsing, but this should be strong enough for light gaming in the future, and the occasional video and photo editing for of pictures of the grand kids.
The case is quiet and looks good, but skimps on a few features. There was a place to put the 2.5" SSD, but there is hardly any room for cable management.
Disk drive works, but is loud.
