Description

Heyo, everyone! Just thought I'd share my build for the first time. So far, this build has been pretty good to me. I've built it over the course of almost 6 months; from June 2019, up until December 2019, when I've (almost) finished my build; only a couple things remain left. I've been pretty happy with it, and couldn't ask for anything else, considering some "budget" parts here and there.

The way that it is now, will eventually be changed up slightly; no build is ever complete! :D

Are you running Nvidia Surround with games?

Not currently; surround is acting up, and I have to figure out how to configure it properly. I do however intend to start using surround.

How did you get that 2070 Super for $400?

It's just a regular 2070; at the time I found it on amazon for $400 new.

How are the monitors? I’m considering get one of those C248B-144RNs as well. I’ve been wondering if they supported G-Sync, do they? Pros and cons?

Honestly, they are pretty good for what you get. They've gone up in price slightly from when I got them, hence the price difference. They do have FreeSync, however, your main display can be turned into a G-Sync display (as the manufacturer says it's integrated, but not verified). Pros are that they're cheap, curved, and 144hz. Cons are that the backlight bleed shows on a pure black screen; such as when loading a game, and it gives a black screen before the loading sequence. Colors are also another con; to make them look nice, you've got to adjust them yourself through the OSD settings.

I've never used those monitors specifically, but I will say that if you are sensitive to motion blur, avoid VA panels. I've tried so many different monitors and I still end up going back to TN despite its inherent flaws due to the superior response times.
