Description

Well I guess I built a PC, It's my first and definitely wont be my last. Here she is, runs Battlefield 3 at an average of 85 FPS on Ultra after I overclocked it. It ran BF3 at about 70 or 75 before the OC. I can't recall the temp of the CPU, should have looked at it closer. I haven't done anything as far as overclocking the GPU either, I'm not sure if it comes overclocked or what but the Gigabyte OC Guru II software wouldn't launch even after I uninstalled/re-installed it. I think I'm gonna download msi afterburner. Windows experience score of 8.1, for what that's worth. I'm really diggin' the monitor, except for the stand it comes with, it is VESA compatible though so there's plenty of options for customizing that. I do think the BD optical drive is junk though. I've had the unit for about 3 weeks now and it works and all but sometimes it makes a noise and my instinct tells me its not gonna last long. No worries though. I really like the case; It's sleek, sexy, and quiet. No LED for the SSD/HD activity though. Actually building it was easy as cake, I did it in about three hours. Everything went smooth and she fired up with no problems, I was nervous as hell too.

Sorry for the slow response, but I honestly have no idea. I did download MSI afterburner and it runs fine but when I moved the slider to increase the GPU Hz I was unable to play Battlefield 3. The voltage control is locked on afterburner but I do know how to unlock it, a little disclaimer comes up and says it can cause damage if you don't know what you're doing, so I stopped and haven't really messed with it at all since then. I'm not sure if the GPU came overclocked or what but I still get amazing graphics and I'm more than satisfied. My PSU does make a small noise when under load but I'm pretty sure it's the fan. I'll probably buy a Corsair HX850 modulated PSU, sounds like it has a higher quality fan.

I believe the fractal case has a ssd mount behind the mobo mount... if you mount it there you could remove the case holding the ssd for better air flow.
