Description

This machine was built using all used parts and was really just for fun. It plays Skyrim on 4k with Ultra settings @ 60+ FPS. However the game does lag when I save and the gpu's tend to idle at 70 Degrees Celsius. My cpu is oc'd to 5 GHz with my vcore @ 1.536v. With good fan placement and my radiator set as intake my temps have not reached 65 Degrees Celsius under load and idle around 20c.

Part Reviews

CPU

The amount of abuse this little chip can take is amazing. I have clocked it all the way up to 5.2 GHz with no problems and little heat issues.

CPU Cooler

This little beauty cools my cpu better than the h100i v2 I now have on my amd fx-9590.

Motherboard

Even with my XMP profile enabled my ddr3 2133 MHz ram will not clock to its stock speeds.

Memory

I bought these on ebay for 25$ and am thoroughly happy with their performance.

Storage

It may not be the best on the market but for the price it was a worthy investment. (it was 42$ at walmart a year ago)

Video Card

Running these in sli is unbelievable. If the game does not allow sli go to the nvidia control panel and make the second one do Antialasing.

Case Fan

I love them but they are loud when cranked up.

Speakers

Crisp Clear and way to loud.

I would downclock the CPU. That voltage will really kill the cpu

Technically 1.6 cvolts is safe.

I see this 5Ghz and can only wish my 9590 would be stable at that. Can only get a 4.9 out of it. With turbo on it will push to 5 on it's own but limited. Very impressive. Just a though on that XMP setting not being able to be used. Have you tried it with the chip at stock speeds?

I am telling you! My 9590 had to be underclocked to 4.4 GHz to keep from catching the house on fire and It is being cooled by a Corsair h100i v2 push/pull.

Sell it, buy a fx 8320 and run it at 4.7 and pocket the rest of the $$$ ;)

Honestly I am not trolling you the system runs 4k with everything maxed out. My boost clock for the 2 cards is 1293 MHz and if there is still doubt look up how 2 Evga GTX 760 2GB stack up against other cards.

4k is not as hard as ppl make it out to be. On older games you can pull it off easy.

There are youtube videos of people playing GTA 5 on max settings with 2 760s

I have seen videos of a 750 ti and a G3258 (with proof) running GTA medium settings 4k, 30fps steady on the benchmarks and in online driving around. It's pretty incredible what some machines can do.

Yes really, older games don't require as much juice. If you can run a game with AA completely maxed out and still have a locked 60fps odds are you can run it on 4K.
