Description

This is my latest AMD PC Build. Decided to share this beast finally on PC Part Picker. The specs on this are just unbelievable, it's super fast & reliable. Exactly what I needed to run multiple VMs, do other stuff and just be comfortable with a machine. Yes, I have added a Wi-Fi motherboard in case I have my Xbox Plugged into the ethernet. I don't game since I have the console but I have installed GRW (Ghost Recon Wildlands) and WD2 (Watch Dogs 2), now I know that these two games are not that graphically intense but I like them. I love what AMD did.

The PC Case gave me a bit of problems regarding the cable management but if you put enough time and effort into it you'll get there with this case. It's a problem that I couldn't connect the two front panel USB Ports (Mobo doesn't support the connection) but it's not a problem as I can easily get under the desk and plug everything in the back (The I/O has plenty of USB Ports).

You should probably take a piece of wood and put it under your case so that way it does not suck in the carpet. or move the drawers from underneath the desk and put the pc on top of that and youll gain more leg room

Ummm, the Case has legs. I know it doesn't look like that but it does...

And for leg room I have plenty, don't worry. Thanks anyway.

Ah okay, I didn't see them. Also whats the need for a R9, I understand form the VM standpoint. and content creation, but a R7 would've worked also

I run 3 VMs (dual core) at the same time, recording or streaming the whole thing will use a lot of power. And at first I was gonna get the 3900x but Amazon damaged the box, got refunded and my girlfriends decided to chip in for me and told me to get the 3950x. She saw that it had "50" extra so it must be better.

This, right here, is even more impressive than the build! I'm curious about your statement about the front ports not connecting to the motherboard. According to the specifications, your case has USB 3.0 on the front (which is the same as USB 3.1, uses 19-pins), and according to Asus you have a 19-pin USB header right next to CHA_FAN2 (labeled #13 on page 1-2 of your manual)

Wow, somebody actually taking the interest on that. I knew that the case was a bit old but I wanted to go with it anyway. I didn't realise that my mobo actually has a 19-pin USB header. I will for sure have a look and see what I can do about it. And yeah my girlfriend tries to be at least interest when I'm on the news and having journalists write articles =]]] thanks a lot. Wish this had an option like Reddit for Reddit Coins.

Very nice build. I have that same monitor, heck of a good one too.

Yes, I have a Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G Smartphone and I was aware of the problem in the BIOS with the CPU temps. It wasn't normal, the CPU fan wasn't slotted it to 100%. Now it stays at 39-40 overclocked.

Woah! I'm super jealous about the CPU, GPU & MB!

I would have gone for 3600 MHz memory and PCI4 storage to help feed the beast faster.

I like vertical GPU mounts, but yours looks like a piece of sheet metal with 3 donuts cut out of it. Sorry if that offends anyone.

Thumbs up for the beast and thanks for posting!

Thanks man. I wanted to go for 3600 MHz mem but I had some budget constraints. And regarding the PCI4 I already had that NVMe spare lying around in my room. I'm planning to maybe change the RAM, and add 2 SSDs in the back but that's for the future.

I went for the vertical mount because there's enough airflow in the case. It does look kinda back from the front angle. But looking at from under the desk it looks much better. And I also want to add some small sticky figurines to get people focused on those instead of focusing on the GPU.
