Description

After waiting for various parts to go on sale, she is finally finished. My last several builds I've used Fractal cases and decided to try something a little more exotic this time around. Build turned out pretty good overall.

CPU: For the price, cannot be beat.

COOLER: Got a steal and a half from Microcenter. Should have been $5 after MIR but they screwed me out of my rebate.

MOBO: Cheapest 990FX mobo I could find at the time. Only complaints are no onboard usb 3.0 and non full length brown PCB.

RAM: Was on sale for like 30 minutes and I managed to grab a pair. Obviously can't run at full 2400 mhz on this platform but still underclocked to 2133 with awesome timings.

HDD: Didn't go SSD because I built it to sell and SSDs add little to no value in my area.

GPU: Love it. Backplate is sexy. Came with AC4. $10 MIR brought price down to $326.

CASE: Awesome for the price. Came with 2x 200mm fans and 1x 120mm fan. Plenty of room for cable management. Only real complaint is no standoff mounts for cable ties. Solved by putting garbage bag ties through the holes instead.

PSU: Tier 2 semi-modular. Looks good and runs quiet.

Were you trying to make a color scheme? It looks pretty awesome inside.

A tad bit yeah. I probably could have taken off the blue tool-less 5.25 inch adapters but I said what the heck. Through the side panel window its all black anyways.
