Description

I'm a first time builder and this is what I've ended up with so far. I wanted to build something that would get decent frames in ultra on most games out there. ArmA 3 the game I play most I get between 30-120 FPS on ultra settings dependant on the server etc. I play mainly on a mod called CityLife RPG.

Although quite a mismash at the moment I'm going for a nice black and red look and because this is my first time would love a little advise on what direction I should go from here.

The resolution on those photos though...

8BitPhoenix 4 Builds 9 points 53 months ago

If you gave me a dollar for every pixel on those photos, I wouldn't even be able to buy that optical drive XD

xx116xx 3 Builds 3 points 53 months ago

Which one? :P

Please re-upload the pictures in the right size please! D: I hardly ever see any builds with that awesome case, so make 'em big enough to where I can see!

My only gripes are:

1) Picture res (reupload)
2) Change prices to what you originally paid
3) Why the multiple different drives?
4) Why the stock GTX 780 Ti? (the green ruins the red and black look, plus you could've gotten one with a black cooler (Gigabyte, Asus, EVGA, etc))
5) Why the ROCCAT overpriced peripherals? Are they truly worth the price?

MAW3Y submitter 1 Build 3 points 53 months ago

1) Working on the pictures, they were just some I had around 2) Prices updated (most items came from Ebuyer UK) 3) 120 for OS - 500 for games - 2tb for general use pics etc 4) Prefered the look - changing the green to red when I have the chance 5) Only used stock before, and bought for the looks really, not had a problem with them tho

Nice to hear. Now that I can see you reuploaded the pics, I can see that your cable management is, well... awful. I hate to be rude, but that case has quite a bit of cable management space and holes, and with that Corsair AX860, you have no further excuse for those loose cables. If you need help with sorting the cables, go ahead and PM me and I'll help ya out.

Otherwise, looks nice :)

Edit: Also, how do you like that magnetic front drive bay cover on the case? Does it function/look good?

MAW3Y submitter 1 Build 1 point 53 months ago

Working on the cables :) thanks for the offer of help though.

The magnetic cover just hides the drives and gives it a clean look, no other use other than looks really.

You can change the color of the geforce logo. It only requires some labor.

The ROCCAT peripherals are actually extremely well made i have used them before and was rather impressed with how High quality they are.

Spend $3600 on a computer, but cant buy a decent camera for $100. :P

But still +1

Your photos... it's like pictures FOR ANTS

asura_ 1 Build 2 points 53 months ago

pics too big, can't handle

reoper6 1 point 53 months ago

Nice build! how do you like that case looking at multiple cases and that one looks rather interesting... (honestly quite a bit of Aerocool's cases look interesting)

MAW3Y submitter 1 Build 1 point 53 months ago

It's a nice case, plenty of room but I had to make adjustments for the cooling rad (currently installed at the top of the case)

This is what i expected to see with those Nokias that came out in 2000. Brah, don't spend $3700 on a computer and use a tiny camera! Sell that over priced mouse, and get a logitech g series mouse and a $100 Canon Powershot. Here's the link for a better camera. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/powershot-elph-115-is-16-0-megapixel-digital-camera/8187138.p;jsessionid=804322C0B9BBDFD54CC24541D4DBC9BE.bbolsp-app03-152?id=1218864956187&skuId=8187138&**=abcat0401001_categoryid$pcmcat324200050004&cp=1&lp=2

I have a decent camera, just not managed to take some decent pics with it yet, will update the photos to some better ones of the phone until I manage to get some decent ones

MAW3Y submitter 1 Build 1 point 53 months ago

Working on the photos :P

First Time using this site, wasn't sure wtf I was doing..

vikingXcore 4 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

You got pretty high legs on the case. I'd flip the PSU over. You also need to definitely work on cable management. Otherwise, you'll have a timebomb just waiting to take out your legs.

Pcgamer20001 1 point 53 months ago

Why did u chose 27inch monitors over bigger or smaller monitors?

MAW3Y submitter 1 Build 1 point 53 months ago

27" was a big as I wanted to go and fitted into my workstation quite nicely, these monitors were recommended by a friend as the price was quite reasonable and has a decent 1ms response time

Ricky_Math 1 Build 1 point 53 months ago

IMO I would have gone one SSD and one HDD like a 128gb SSD and a 3tb HDD
