why are you mixing 1866 and 1600 ram.... Not even identical dims are recommended, but only the ones matched at factory..

LGA 1150 supports 1600 Mhz max anyway , do didn't give it too much thought

your mobo supports up to 3300, pretty sure that wont be a problem but mixing ram is another thing..

What is that box behind the PSU?

Its just a plastic cover. It covers up all the cables that come out of the power supply. Gives a cleaner look

i had 4x4 dual channel in my old rig , and my new rig LGA 1150 supports only 1600 max anyway, so i didn't give much though to it and bought an additional 8 GB , i only got to know there were like 100's of types of corsair memories

Keep one 8GB kit and sell the other. Don't keep RAM in there that doesn't match. If you really need 16GB, buy some stuff that matches. Otherwise nice build! +1

Also you mounted the radiator upside down, the optimal way is the hoses down.

The CPU may be capable of up to DDR3-2400+ as all Intel K series CPUs are unlocked so this means that all frequencies are independent.

nope , i did my research , 1600 Max and i wont overclock my CPU http://ark.intel.com/products/80807/Intel-Core-i7-4790K-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-4_40-GHz

you are totally wrong.... and it was really ABSURD to buy a K cpu if you knew you would not overclock it, you should have bought the i7-4790 and a H97 mobo and you would have save some money...
