Description

I just built this PC about a month ago. I had the two monitors, most of the hard drives and other peripherals from my previous Digital Storm PC build. I decided to go with 2nd Gen Ryzen to save some money since I really did not feel I needed PCIE 4.0 and I felt the performance was close enough to the 3rd Gen Ryzen to warrant the savings. I built this system around a RTX 2060 Super GPU that was given to me as a gift. The PC really came out well. The only issue I have been having is sometimes while watching Netflix (other streaming services I have no issues) my computer would freeze and then restart. The CPU is running at 3.85 GHz using the MSI motherboard's boost feature. I have never overclocked any of my computers, but I would like to. My awesome memory is running at 3200 when I activated the AMP setting. I do not know the systems temps at all.

What do you all think of my computer? Any suggestions or ideas? What would you have done differently?

Oh I forgot to mention that I will be adding another 16 GB of the same memory making the system have 32 GB of total memory. The Dell monitor that I have is hooked up using a video port converter cable and I may not have listed the exact model, but it is the closest one I could find on this website. I also did not pay $100 for Windows. lol I paid about $15 for a Windows OS key. Everything else should be 100% accurate.

Thanks everyone!

Thanks. I actually like my desk. Do not get me wrong, it has issues, but I really enjoy having my second monitor where it is a bit raised and off to the side.

I heard the m.2 slot shared bandwidth with two sata 6.0gbs ports. Have you had any problems?

Basically if you install an M.2 SSD on your MOBO you are unable to use two of your SATA ports on your MOBO. So I have had no issues at. I apologize for not getting back you sooner hanninglu.

Just a quick update. I did order and receive another set of G.Skill Flare X Series 16 GB (2x8GB) DDR4 - 3200 14 latency ram. I installed them into my PC and I was having issues with my PC crashing. I took them out and I am having no problems. I am in the process in figuring out if the new RAM is the problem or if my MOBO has bad (either two left) ram slots. Either way I am going to send the RAM back simply because I decided since my Ryzen 5 2600 supports duel channel I will just stick with the RAM I have installed and working already.

Oh, I wanted to give you all an update. I am not sure as to how, I am thinking it was because a recent driver install, but I am no longer having any crashes due to Netflix or any other streaming service. In fact, since I took out the extra memory that I previously mentioned I have had zero issues with my new pc. knocks on wood Please feel free to post any comment or questions regarding my PC.

Oh I did reconnect my GPU power cord through the slot given through the power supply shroud that the NZXT H500 case provided. It was driving me nuts not using a feature of the case. lol
