I built this rig to replace my laptop because i wanted more performance and a custom build. Most of these parts i got from microcenter dang they have great deals especially on black friday. I use this machine for personal use and mainly gaming. And yes of course there were problems. I originally went with win 7 but that failed so i switched to win 8 and it worked. but before that my first mobo was dead so that sucked it was a free gigabyte one so i spent the extra $30 bucks to get a Asus one. Finally once i got my rig running I could max out most of my steam games so in the end it worked out

Part Reviews

Best budget cpu cant wait for directx 12 to take full advantage of muiltcore cpus

CPU Cooler

Fantastic low profile compared to hyper 212 evo and yes its worth every dollar

Could not install win 7 and not a fan of the blue heat sinks

Video Card

Has a back plate lights up and very fast

Fantastic build quality and very sexy and easy to build in

Case Fan

Very high air flow and nice lighting

Buy this if you need key board and mouse amazing for the price

Had this for almost two years and it still perfect

Idk it just happened Main reason I went for it because i wanted custom look anyways I have no regrets its beautiful and yes I know I could've put more into the gpu also finally I changed the gpu since then Its a gtx 960 g1 gaming by gigabyte,

Sick build! The only thing wrong is that you didn't go NVIDIA on GPU. Just personal preference I guess, but the GTX 960 SuperSC would give the same performance with a higher memory clock.

Do you think it would be ok / logical to spray paint the the 2 copper tubs on the top of the cooler? Planning on using engine type spray paint which is heat resistance. Nice build too!
