Description
This is my gaming computer I finally finished, the prices listed are not accurat, and the ssd/ram listed are only what I could find closest to what I got.
I got the CPU, and RAM as a birthday gift, everything else I bought with money from selling my xbox, laptop, and working a bit. It is all worth it.
I can play bioshock infinite, battlefield 4, farcry 3 all at the highest settings possible at I am guessing around I am guessing 60 fps since I have not tested the fps, only played the games, never felt even a hint of a fps drop while playing.
I took a big risk when I bought the GPU used for 150 dollars from amazon. It is re-certified by MSI and even came with all original packaging, and a NVIDIA game coupon to make it seem new. I am also using MSI afterburner to over clock the GPU to 1250 mhz, and it still never goes over 60C.
I decided to go with this CPU instead of returning it when I received it as a gift, since it is a perfect CPU, it comes with good integrated graphics I use for my second monitor, and has a nice clock speed of 3.0 MHz and 4 cores. Perfect for gaming.
The ram was a gift, a great gift. I actually got the black version of the ram listed, it performs wonderfully helping me do everything with ease.
The SSD lets me boot up in 7 seconds, including typing in my password. I put the programs that are always running on it, and the launchers for the programs I use often.
The fractal design case is not the most eye-appealing case out there, especially for the cost it is today, but I got if for 60 dollars with newegg a couple months ago, could not resist. I bought my stuff from newegg and amazon.
Do not hate that I got windows 7 pro, I decided not to torrent it, as I want updates, and insure that I would not get a deadly virus hidden in the operating system. I got if from eBay for 50 dollars.
The power supply was a mistake. I had not studied enough about computers and I just bought it since it was on sale for 30 dollars on newegg. It works for me, it will work until I am in collage and buy another GPU.
So overall, this is my dream computer, and I reccomend these parts to anyone. Other than the power supply.
