Description

Thanks to ICEMODZ and Be Quiet! for making this project happen!

This is the successor to 'Grote Jongen'

The buildlog on LTT

Well, here we go again. Another summer holiday project. After my last wooden case project I discovered 1. that a wooden PC is possible and 2. that my wooden PC was not practical at all. I also didn't like the looks of it that much and it was way to big for my room. Enough reason for a worthy successor.

So I started designing a new case starting Christmas 2014, first on paper but later in the form of a 3D model in Sketch up. The design process took about half a year. The main focus was to design a much smaller case than the first and it had to be much more practical, for example the implementation of dust filters.

The actual building happened in the summer holiday of 2015, in July. There is a build log on the LTT forum, which doesn't have the conclusion because of the Microsoft account problems they had.

The PC runs like a charm. They only problem it has, is when I power in on half the time in doesn't want to post and gets stuck on code 62, which according to the MB manual means: installation of the PCH runtime services

If anyone knows how to fix this, please comment down below. I would love to fix this, but don't know how.

The dust filters work extremely well. The PC has ran for over half a year now and there has not been any reason to clean the inside because there is literally no dust!

I know I have been away from PCP for five months now, and that I didn't answer all the questions from last build, but if you have a question just ask me in the comments. This time I will try to answer them all!

I will extend this description over time, this is it for now.

There have been rumors that when I can find new and more sponsors there will be a new project this summer. Still rumors though.

It looks beautiful. I like the look.

You have 509 pictures. LOL. I just looked at the first few. Usually I tell people that they need more pictures. But I guess that is not the case here.

Albert98 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 37 months ago

Well, with my last build there were people telling me there weren't enough pictures. And remember, 500 pictures for more then 8 weeks of hard work is never to much.

OccamAsylum 15 Builds 1 point 37 months ago

There was no way I was going to look through all 509 photos, but A+ for the creativity.

Albert98 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 37 months ago

That's why I placed the main pics up front, but if you go to the left watch the last photo's as well, also very nice.

You mention 8 weeks of hard work. probably could've taken 4 if you didn't stop every 5 min to take a pic XD

Jk, the result looks amazing. How has this not been featured yet?

lorenzog.music 1 Build 1 point 37 months ago

+1,000,000 only for the ridiculous amount of pictures. It's been 25 minutes and I am still scrolling.

I always see builds and think I want more photos... Well, I'M DAMN GOOD WITH 509. HOLY S***. Lol OK back to swiping right... BTW... I'd thought I'd add to the pile of textbook "Enough pictures" comments... +1 This is dedication
