Description

I've been wanting to do a mini itx build for while now. Once i picked the case, i knew exactly what i wanted it to look like. I know I don't need the aio liquid cooler for a locked processor, but the cpu block matched the led rings of the fans so what the heck. It is a little dark in the case, so let me know if you think i should add some LEDs or something

Well mate, I think you're lucky, because as far as I know, locked Skylake procie can be OC'ed with Z170 chipset with up to date bios... or so I heard. Hope thats true.

Also, what is your monitor on the last pic? And no offense, but what is your consideration using two 16:9 monitor over an Ultrawide monitor.

Oh yeah, +1 from me XD

Only the "K" series Intel CPUs have an unlocked multiplier. You would want the i5-6600K for overclocking (a bit more expensive). And of course the Z170 chipset. I'm sticking with the 6600 for my build, since I have no plans to overclock.

riomist is referring to the feature of overclocking the BCLK from 100MHz to the 120-150MHz Skylake and Z170 (and that dope watercooler) are easily able to achieve. OP - read this, and report back to us your findings - for Science!

The monitors are lg mp57hq-p (I think), and I use the two monitors because I am still in school, and it is just really convenient when writing papers and such
