Description

About to graduate from Highschool, and having saved up enough money from my part time job, I decided to build a computer for gaming. I have done research on computers and have become quite familiar with most hardware. I wasn't really on a budget, but I didn't want to spend a whole lot. My needs aren't really that much, I just want to pilot games at 1080p, with 60fps. So I went and bought the parts shown. I wanted to build something to treat myself for pushing through and graduating. I had to deal with the stock cooler for my 8320 for a week because I forgot to buy the 212 when I first checked out. Holy crap, that stock cooler was LOUD.

PLANS FOR THE FUTURE: There are still some things that I need to do in order for this to be complete. I want to add a second 270, I notice that in higher end games, like GTA5 and BF4 my fps will sink into the low 40s and even into the high 30s while alot is going on. I hope to fix this by adding a second 270. I will most likely do this by the end of june. But not right now, since I am just about to graduate, and I need to save money.

I want to paint a logo on the side of the case, I hope to get this done within the next few weeks, I just need some red spray paint, I already have the logo planned out, it fits the warmongers title.

You'll be able to hit steady 60+ with this rig but I'm not too sure if that'll be with ultra settings. If you weren't on a budget why didn't you just get a 970? +1 still!!

I've been looking at this powercolor r9 270 and want to know how your experience with it is like?

I've seen good and negative reviews, how do you like it?

I have the ASUS R9 270 and it works just fine for me, I've run it at 1050mhz since I got it and it's been able to handle everything on ultra, although demanding games (far cry 3) i've had to disable any AA to get a solid 60fps. Solid card for the price though imo.
